Avalon was so excited.
Only four days til Christmas, but she doubted she would see Fred Weasley again before the actual day so she had the new music she had bought for him all wrapped up in in the inner pocket of her coat. Even if they weren't exchanging gifts she didn't care. She was definatly going to give it to him anyway. He had been so kind the other day. He had answered every owl she had sent him in those last few days, and every time she walked into the shop to do her part time job working for Senior Weasley he always gave her a bright smile and they talked ad it was less and less awkward every time.
Avalon was super excited today though. Because she and Fred were heading out to go spend time together in London. She had never really been in London and Fred had even mentioned something about a movie picture story he wanted to take her to. Everything about all this excited her. And it was probably the last time she would see him outside of work until New Years Eve when they planned to spend the afternoon/evening/ and most of the night together. She was excited about that as well. But one day at a time, she reminded herself as she stood in the leaky cauldron.
Well well... I heard you are working with the Weasley's now. And clinging to Fred like a lost little kitten in the rain.
Lost little kitten, really?
I don't know .. why .. why that's any of your business.
Look sweetheart, we all appreciate your little crush on a hottie like Fred Weasley, but he is SO out of your league, so you should just give it up and let the real girls step in.
I don't think you know Fred very well.
Haha, and YOU do?!
Better than you, and not because I'm a fan girl, you know he hates those right?
Avalon stood with her back straight. If ANYONE is a fan girl Avalon it is you.
The girls walked off and Avalon sighed, she hated that kind of crap. It always made her wonder if it was really something she should worry about. She knew that she wasn't a fan girl. That much should be obvious to Fred because she wasn't the kind that squealed, she didn'tcollect his trash and keep it for later. She didn't ask for little momentos of his life. She just enjoyed every conversation that she had. And his father was super nice, though he liked to prank, he knew there was a line that he could cross when it came to Avalon because she was shy but he was working on her.
Avalon sat at one of the tables. Dressed in her favorite well fitted pair of jeans. Pink leg warmers, since it was so cold out, with some black boots under her jeans. On her torso she was wearing a soft light grey cashmere sweater over a lacey shirt that you could only get a peak at at her neck where the sweater opened. Her hair was pulled back partially and held in a little rose shaped clasp that was the same soft blue as the lace shirt underneath her sweater. She had small earings in her ear, and had dressed as though it was a date, but not a fancy date.
She hoped.
Avalon hadn't even brought her journal with her today. She was soley going on this thing as a date, though she had brought her money and wondered what you spent in the real world? But she figured that Fred had that covered because he mentioned he liked going to London and if she had to she could repay him in wizard money for anything necessary when they got back home. That would probably help her understand if this was a date or not. But she sat there, reading the paper she had picked up on the way in, waiting for Fred to show up, her bright red hair she hoped would help him find her. She only hoped she wasn't the only one that saw this as a date.

For once Fred Weasley was nervous about meeting someone, and that was decidedly new.
The nervousness wasn't exactly something that he was used to, but there it was. Roaring it's ugly head like his landlord asking for his rent. Hell, he wasn't even sure why he was nervous at all, this was just a couple of friends spending the day in muggle London wasn't it? It wasn't like it was a date or anything. The numerous owls and the conversations they'd had hadn't helped the situation at all. Hell, he'd even managed to sneak out and get that owl necklace she'd been looking at while they'd been window shopping. It had meant that he'd had to reduce his food budget for this week, but it was worth it.
But still, he was also very excited. He'd hadn't really had the chance to show anyone around London before, so that would be fun. The fact that he would be alone with Avalon for the entire day without being judged by anyone who had any idea who either of them where, was definitely playing a part in that. In an effort to at least try and control his combined nervousness and excitment, he'd spent the morning trying to decide what he was going to wear for the only day outside of work where he'd get to see Avalon before New Years. It wasn't the most important thing, but to Fred it seemed to be.
As he walked to the Leaky Couldren he bumped past a couple of girls who just glared at him as he passed. Fred raised an eyebrow at them, not entirely sure he'd to piss them off exactly. Probably dated and dumped one of their besties or whatever. Shrugging it off as unimportant he continued on his way. He had to go see about a girl. This gave him cause to pause for a few moments. Huh. Never thought that would happen. Ah, well. No use in denying it now.
Fred pushed open the door to Tom's and stepped inside. Dressed in a pair of black suit pants, a white button up shirt, black high top sneakers, a trench coat and a plain black tie. Hell he'd brushed and gelled down his hair, which was a rarity, even when he was at work. Usually it was a chaotic mess of some sort or another and made him look like he'd just got out of bed, even if it was the middle of the day, but not it actually looked normal. Fred had gone for the semi-formal attire on principal alone really, figuring that this day of hanging out was something special.
Or at least he hoped it was.
Hell, he'd even left his usual pocket full of jokes at home. Fred didn't want to accidentally ruin the atmosphere with a misplaced joke or something like that. Instead he had a pocket full of Pounds and Pence that he'd traded what was left of his wizarding cash. So no pressure, right? He wanted this date, er, day to go well. But all his worries washed away when he saw Avalon sitting at a table reading the paper and a smile appeared on his face.
"Fancy seeing you here," he greeted as he approached the table his smile definitely evident.

Avalon turned the page and continued to read. She had done everything she could to make sure that she wasn't going to be too nerdy. She hadn't brought her journal, her potions book, or anything like that really. She left it all at home because she was hoping that they would continue to get along like they had, and continue to have fun. She would be too busy to be worried about what else was going on, she would just be experiencing her fun day with Fred. She was so excited. But she was also trying really hard not to keep an eye on the door as much as she wanted to, she didn't want to make it seem like she had just been sitting here waiting for him nervously. So the paper she had bought had actually been a really great idea, because it made her busy and it allowed her to not be watching the door when he walked in.
Avalon did look up when she heard his smoothe voice and she smiled up at him. Blue eyes alight with happiness as she got up out of her chair and hugged him. They didn't get to hug much at work, but occassionally they found reasons to touch for a few moments, even if it was simple as him helping her reach something on a high shelf. She tended to sometimes make it so she needed that even if she didn't really she could use her wand to get them, but it was so much better to have Fred come get it for her. He never seemed to mind.
She pulled back from the hug and she picked up the purse that she had brought with her. It seemed small but it held a world of things because it was spelled to. She folded up the paper and left it there so that someone else could read it later without having to buy it.
Are you ready to go? I'm really excited. We have a whole day to ourselves and that just sounds like a lot of fun.
He looked so handsome. He had really dressed up for all of this. he looked so amazing. She hugged him again just because he had really gone all out and she wondered if she had under dressed but she had no idea what he was going to do with her so she had just picked something she could be comfortable in all day. She smiled and pulled back a second time.
You look great! I'm so used to you in your work robes now. she blushed but smiled. She was ready to go do this thing.

Just seeing her light up had definitely made it all worth it as any nerves he had washed away. There had been a moment where he thought that she might not have come, that he'd misinterpreted all the signs that she had sent and that she was possibly going to stand him up. But that was out of his mind and well and truly forgotten about now. It was going to be a good day, he just knew it. Now if he could only make sure that happened and that he didn't screw it up by doing something stupid, then it'd be all good. Think positive, Weasley, think positive. She's just a friend, she's just your friend. He'd been trying to convince himself of that for the last couple of days though he couldn't help but want more. The bad thing was, he wasn't entirely sure if she returned whatever he was feeling or if his biases were just screwing with the truth of the situation. Gah! When did relationships become so complicated?
He returned the hug with much gusto. After their first hug in Diagon Alley, Fred had found that he wanted to do them more and more, especially when Avalon was involved. But he really didn't get to much of a chance at work unfortunately. Mainly due to the fact that it would've been somewhat inappropriate, and the fact that they were generally pretty busy. But Avalon did tend to ask him to ask for help in retrieving items from high places, even though she could've just used her wand to do so. Not that he was complaining though. It was as good an excuse as any. And he really didn't mind at all.
"I'm ready to go whenever are, m'lady. The entirety of London is at our disposal and it'll be a blast." At least it would if Fred had anything to say about it. And he had a lot to say on the matter.
He hadn't exactly expected the second hug at all. But again he wasn't going to complain. Especially 'cause he returned this one as well, as well as the smile she had when she released the hug. Definitely a good day indeed.
"I must say, you look pretty good yourself, Avalon." Which was the truth, she really did. Especially when she blushed, which caused Fred to do so a little. He offered her his had as he was ready to head out.

Avalon blushed when he mentioned that she looked good today. She couldn't help it, it felt good to be appreciated, especially after the girls of earlier telling her that she wasn't good enough. But if Fred was interested in her then she must have something going for her. She didn't think Fred was the kind of guy that was going to lead her on. He didn't seem like that kind of guy so she figured that he had to be honestly interested in her but she wasn't sure if she should wait to tell him how much she liked him, or if she should tell him at all.
She didn't want to ruin what they already had.
He told her that he was ready and she bit her lower lip. Should she give him his present right now? She figured if she did then he would probably know that it was more than just a friendship. And then she wouldn't have to worry about forgetting she really didn't want that to happen. Avalon unzipped her purse and she dug around in it for a moment. Then she pulled out a package that was small, and wrapped in paper covered with candy canes and a red bow in the center.
Before I forget. Merry Christmas Fred.
She smiled brightly as she handed over the present. Inside was the music of that woman he had told her about. The one that he hadn't owned yet, she had made sure to get the exact music that he had told her to and she was hoping that he would really enjoy the gift and that he hadn't bought it already after work some day. But she didn't think he had.
I .. I got it for you because, I just wanted you to know that.. you mean something to me and it's Christmas time so that's what you do you know.. get something special for someone special.
She bit her lower lip and waited for him to open the music that she had gotten for him. She hadn't gotten a card or anything because she didn't know which one to get him. Something about love? No. Something about friends? no. Something about family? no. So she had opted to let the gift speak for itself.

Fred wasn't the type to lead a girl on if he liked her. The main trouble was that he was still sorting what he did feel for Avalon. Hopefully their trip today would sort that out because it was beginning to annoy him. He usually felt one way or the other about someone, whether it was friend, foe, neutral or indifferent. But with Avalon it was completely different. Once he sorted it out, the next challenge would be figuring out how his new friend felt about him, because he didn't want to ruin their friendship by admitting he liked her, only to have her reject him and deal with the fallout from that.
That and he didn't want to sound like a babbling fool by trying to explain his current feelings.
Fred's smile grew large as he accepted the present. From the shape he could guess what it was, the CD he'd commented about wanting when they'd first had lunch together. He'd deliberately refrained from getting it, just in case she gave to him as a present.
"I'm sure it's totally awesome." Came the thank you as he accepted the present. Opening the present excitedly his guess had proven correct. "And I was right. Thank you," was the add on as he gave her a hug as an added thank you. As he released the hug, Fred dug into one of the pockets of his trench coat and pulled out the present he'd got for Avalon.
"I got you something as well. Hope you like it 'cause you're special to me as well. Yeah, enjoy and all."
For some reason he was all nervous and what have you about giving her a present, despite the fact that he'd just received one from her. It wasn't exactly a large one given the size of its contents, but still Fred handed it over and hoped it was something that did want. 'Cause it wasn't exactly cheap. Hopefully she liked it.

Avalon was surprised when he came out with a gift for her. She took it in her hands but she watched as he opened the CD that she had gotten him. She smiled when he seemed happy with what he had gotten. She was glad that he liked it. She was happy that he hadn't already gotten it, because she really wanted him to have something that he hadn't already had. And she had done good it seemed. She tore into her own package with a grin and she gasped as the violet colored gem with the silver owl on it came into view. It was the necklace that she had seen that first day on Diagon Alley when they went shopping together for his sister.
Instantly, Avalon reached up and clasped the necklace around her neck and let it fall between her breastbones, it was perfect. She giggled happily as she launched herself into his arms and snuggled in for just a moment. It was the most perfect thing ever. She looked up at him and she smiled brightly.
Thank you, you remembered. You're so sweet.
She kissed his cheek, the only thing that she was willing to do at the moment. She figured that if he wanted to try for an actual kiss he was going to have to make that move. Though it would most definatly be returned. She looked over at him and then pulled back and took his hand. Excited to go out, she had no idea what he had planned for them today outside of going to the moving picture story. That she was really excited to see she couldn't wait to tell her brother all about it. But she was just ready to get out there and see how everyone worked in the muggle world. How they did everything without magic, her wand was carefully tucked away in her bottomless purse.
If you need to keep your CD in my purse until we're done today I understand, it's not going to run out of room any time soon.
She smiled at him and if he wanted her to she would take the CD and put it in her purse. They stepped out on the grimey London streets and Avalon looked around, she had seen bits and pieces of it from time to time when she went to the Ministry the old fashioned way to visit her mother or her brother. But most of the time she just used Floo Powder and the fire place in her home. But even still. She was eager to go out and explore.
So you've been here before, where should we go? Oh! And didn't you say you had a place here?! I want to see what that is like, if you don't mind at some point. I've never been inside a muggle home before, I can only imagine how that must work!
Okay she was a little excited but this was a super adventure for a pure blooded wizard.

Fred couldn't help but smile as Avalon put on the necklace. It really looked good on her. Or at least he thought so. But then again, any necklace would've looked good on her in his opinion. He was also glad that she liked to be honest. The lady behind the counter had remember seeing the pair and had commented on how they made such a cute couple. Fred had blushed at the compliment and really didn't round to correcting her on the topic of him not actually going out with Avalon at that point. Who knew, that might be the case the next time they went in. But that would be dependant on how today went, and what his feelings were afterward.
Despite himself, he actually blushed slightly when Avalon had snuggled into him and wrapped his arms around her. A couple of the other patrons were staring at the pair, but Fred was oblivious. It felt kind of right having her snuggle up to him like this. He even returned the bright smile. He was truly glad that she liked her present.
"One does ones best."
Fred blushed even harder when Avalon kissed him on the cheek. As she was in the act, he was expecting it to be on the lips and was pleasantly surprised when it wasn't. He thought about pulling her in for a kiss, but decided against it for the moment. Fred figured it was probably best until he actually knew what was going on in his own head. As she took his hand Fred gave it a little squeeze. He was as excited as she was to be going out into the muggle world with her. Apart from taking her to the movies and maybe one or two museums in the area he really didn't have anything planned, so hopefully he could keep her entertained. His own wand was successfully tucked into one of pockets on his trench coat, just in case he needed to get to it quickly. Even in this day and age you could never be to ready.
"I might just do that actually."
He handed back the CD. She'd keep it safe no worries. And at worst he could get her bring it to work on day or send it with her owl. It was all good in the hood. The wind seemed to pick up slightly as they stepped outside causing Fred to grin slightly as he took in the world that he'd chosen to live in. He enjoyed it. Hell he loved the place. All the things that the muggles had done without the aid of magic.
"One thing at a time, love. We can check out my place after lunch and before we head off to the movies. I think we're pretty close to the British Museum and Centre Point, the tallest building in the area if that's of any interest. Then there's Trafalgar Square which is always a great pace to visit. The question is where do you want to start?"
Hopefully he gave Avalon a decent snap shot of the muggle world so she could enjoy it as much as he did.

Love!?
He called her love. Avalon suddenly couldn't feel her feet. She felt like she could just swoon right here and now and yet she didn't. She bit her lower lip as they stepped out onto the streets. He told her they would head to his place after lunch to kill time before the movie. She was cool with that, she would easily spend time exploring a muggle apartment. He told her that there were apartments, some sort of square, and all kinds of other things that they could spend their day doing before they went to lunch and then his apartment.
She looked over at him.
Lets go to the museum then. And then we can go to that square, that sounds neat. I don't have any muggle money. So if any money gets spent Ill pay you back with our money. I don't want you to think that I won't. Because, I really don't want it to be unfair.
They headed off towards the museum hand in hand. Avalon spent most of the walk taking in the sites. It was so beautiful. People drove in cars that had zero magic. They ran on something called gasoline, and the people in the seats drove and controled them. They didn't control themselves. There was a huge clock that she could see as they walked. And it held the most beautiful arms, and the whole city, she bet could read a clock that big. How convenient. She saw signs that changed pictures on their own controlled by people and computers and not by magic. She saw street lights that helped control the flow of traffic. Everything was SO amazing.
So how much time do you spend here in London? she asked him because she knew now that they were actually in the muggle world she knew that she couldn't call attention to themselves because that woulde be bad and expose magic which wasn't cool at all. Plus, she didn't want people thinking they were weird. She just was curious about Fred and she knew he had a place here which probably meant he spent a fair amount of time here.
What do you like to do here the most?

To be honest, Fred hadn't even noticed that he'd called Avalon 'love'. It had kind of just come out naturally, without even thinking. Like his subconscious was actually trying to tell him something. If only he'd actually notice then things might be able to progress in some sort of general direction. But he'd just have to keep on waiting for the time being while his conscious mind caught up, and that could take a little while. Silly Freddie.
He smiled as she looked over, a somewhat automatic occurrence really. A willingly automatic one at that.
"To the British Museum it is then. Which luckily enough is free to the general populace. Don't worry about the cash though, I definitely have it covered. It's not unfair at all. Besides, I have no idea what the exchange rate is and I don't want you to over pay or anything."
Fred was more then happy to explain how everything worked as they went. Yeah, it may have sounded a little strange to those around them for him to be explaining to a sixteen-year-old what essentially were the basics of the muggle world but Fred didn't care at all. Thankfully he had an excuse or two up his sleeve just in case anyone actually asked. Most didn't, but there was the occasional one. The looks on Avalon's face as she looked around and took in the sights was definitely payment enough. She seemed to be enjoying it no end and that made it all worth while. Heck he even had to point out the Big Ben, which he thought even Wizards and Witches would know about. Obviously not.
"Considering I live here, quite a lot actually. I love wondering the streets after work and ticky touring on the way home. It's amazing what you discover when you're not actually doing anything." And it was true. There was such much to discover and yet most people ignored it because they were looking for specific things or they had a purpose. Sometimes you just needed to step back, relax, and just explore the exciting thing that was London. The only downside was that a lot of things cost money, but Fred didn't mind window showing or just browsing. So long as he didn't get in trouble.
"The fact that so much has been achieved. Just look at what we've done without having any advantages." Fred was of course talking about magic. He really didn't want to reveal that they could use magic either. Hopefully Avalon got that. "I can't wait to see what is developed next."

It seemed the museum was free to the general public. Which made it all the better. Her hand in Fred's hand they walked together she let him lead the way since she so obviously had no idea where she was going. She had flown over London but never close enough to really get a look. And when she came here to take that way to get to the Ministry she took a bus, to the building, to down, she never explored. It wasn't so much because she was afraid though that tended to be a bit of it. It was also because her mother was very protective of her and she didn't want to disobey and get in trouble. At least this way, her mother wouldn't know, and secondly she was with Fred who knew the area and everything which meant they were less likely to get lost.
Fred even admitted that she would not have to pay him back which made her shocked and blush, but she didn't mind so much. She didn't care about that so much. She was glad for it. She wanted this to be a date, and it was seeming more and more like it was going to be that for them. He came here often, especially since he lived here and had explored a great deal because of that.
Wow that must be great. I would like to live in a place like this if I could. We live out in the middle of no where. Like a huge field. But anyway, this is where all the action happens and this is exactly where I want to live. Somewhere here in London.
He mentioned everything that the muggles had accomplished. All the buildings they crammed into tiny spaces and yet somehow still were able to make things look beautiful. She nodded in affirmation of his statement, she totally agreed with it.
It's beautiful. lBut Im sure they would think the same thing of our creations if they had a chance.
They walked along and she smiled at watching children play with a ball. She missed sometimes, belonging like that. When she was little she had a group of friends that she played with that lived not too far away. But when she got accepted to Hogwarts everything began to change. Houses were chosen and sometimes, there were lines that friends couldn't cross. And one of those for Avalon was Slytherin. Most of them were just cruel. It was like a requirement to be selfish, greedy, and cruel. Willing to sacrifice all for yourself. That was the kind of person that Avalon just couldn't get along with, thus, divisions had been made and Avalon had ended up alone.
So what do you do here? In London, all by yourself?

Fred had visited the Museum a couple of times before, and was actually very glad he had. It had taught him a lot about the muggle world and how they came to be what they were. It was amazing really. It also helped him to know where he was going. It would've been kind of embarassing to get lost on their first day out together. Especially since he actually lived around here and all. He would've kicked himself. Not to mention what the family would've said if they had found out. Especially Roxanne and the old man. But that wasn't going to happen. At least not today anyway.
Somewhere in Fred's mind this was sounding and looking something like a date. A date between to people who hadn't actually admitted to dating each other yet. For some reason he wanted to this be a date. Or at least something resembling a date. Or whatever two friends did that was like a date without actually being one. Ah! Why were these feelings so confusing! Why couldn't they just come out and tell him that he liked Avalon without being so muddled and confused? But life never was that simple was it?
"Well, it's something to look into yeah? Especially if you want to open up that Perfume and Potion shop you were talking about. But the action doesn't always happen here, only most of it."
He was glad she agreed with the beauty of the muggle world. There were those, even non-Slytherin's who were of the opinion that the muggle world had no beauty at all. That the magic world was where all the beauty was at. Fred couldn't disagree.
"Both worlds are beautiful in their own way to be honest."
Fred watch the kid playing ball alongside Avalon and grinned slightly. He sometimes missed the simplicity of being a child himself. But then he had people like Avalon to remind him that being a grown up was also an excellent choice, and that you could retain some of the child as well. This was part of the reason that he chose to prank the Slytherin, because they refused to give in to their inner child and were way to serious. He was sure he had a relative in the house, but he shrugged him off on principal.
"I go to the movies when I can. Occasionally I go down to the local for a couple of drinks, or even to the Leaky Cauldron. Anything else depends on the budget and the bus system or if I can be bothered to apperate."

Yeah. I even thought of the name for the business. even though it won't be until I can graduate. I think I want to call it 'Potions and Posies'. Because it's potions and perfume, and posies is a flower, and I thought, it was really cute, don't you think? I was thinking I could go ahead and start coming up with my business plan, so I could get started when I'm ready.
She walked with him and he told her that he went to the movies a lot. She didn't blame him if they were moving pictures that told stories she would probably be so eager to go as well. She would probably be there once a week. But she didn't know exactly what everything was about just yet but she was really excited to find out and she was so happy that she had Fred with her right now otherwise she would be doing this solo and she would likely be quite scared.
But luckily for her she had Fred.
I would probably be exploring a lot too. It's so cool here! I love it.
They got the museum and went right in. Without them having to pay anything it was nice. The museum was filled with muggle things. She spent longer than most people at the different places and displays up in the front. What was boring to most people because they knew all of this stuff was highly intriguing to someone like Avalon that had never read or heard much of this stuff. When it came to something like magic, potions, spells, that sort of thing. Even magical history, she knew a lot. But outside of her muggle studies class she had never really studied them that much.
But they were interesting.
What's your favorite thing here?

"It is kind of cute, yeah. You're certainly a lot more organised then I was at your age. I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I still don't really. Hopefully you can get that plan of yours sorted."
Fred really hoped that Avalon succeded with her potions business. It sounded like she was passionate about it. Heck, he'd help her if could. If they were still friends at that point of course. He hoped that they would be. Fred was sure that they would be at least friends at that point. Who knew what else they'd be given enough time. And everyone deserved to be successful at their chosen career, so long as it didn't affect anyone else in a negative way. But that was the future. At the moment he was looking forward to taking Avalon to the movies later. For some reason it gave him a tingly feeling. But he had no idea why. Strange.
"It is indeed very cool here. Couldn't really believe it myself myself when I first moved here. I totally love it." He almost added 'and I like you,' but that may have sounded kind of stupid and a little weird to.
Fred hadn't been to the museum in a little while, so it was interesting to walk in and see if they had anything different on display. It hadn't changed to much, which was always nice. He wasn't a big fan of things he liked changing to drastically. Especially if the way it had looked had served its purpose well, and the change was unnecessary. He was happy to just follow Avalon around as she explored all the muggle artefacts. She hadn't seen many if any of the items of display before and wondered what she thought of them. Whenever they stopped to look at something, Fred would subconsciously rub the back of his friends hand with a thumb. There was no rhyme or reason for it, but he'd seen that she'd enjoyed it before and seemed to want to continue it.
Hopefully it wasn't to distracting as a small smile grew on his face.
"Not particularly. I tend to enjoy the museum as a whole rather then any of the exhibits specifically. It's all a very interesting to be honest. What have you liked so far?"

Avalon was so curious about everything. She probably spent too long at each and every station just because most of it she had never heard of before. Wars, guns, all kinds of things. She looked at money from the old days before money was grossely paper or even now days merely an electronic number that stood for the paper. Old coins, with long lost rulers on them. She didn't know who most of them were, because Muggle studies wasn't very big where she stood in Hogwarts, she had paid attention but there was only so much a class could cover.
They walked along and every time that they seemed to stop she felt his thumb running circles around the back of her hand. Making her smile just knowing that it was probably subconscious. Him doing that. Which meant he was comfortable with her, and that meant the world to her that he could care so much about her, that he didn't feel like they had to fill every silence with words, or every moment with something. But a simple touch could say a lot.
He asked her what she had been interested in so far and she thought about it.
The money thing was cool. All the different coins. It's amazing how money has changed through all the years. I don't think ours has changed too much, but you know.
Avalon gave a shrug as they moved through the different hallways and found themselves in some sort of art area. She walked slowly, because these were so interesting to her. NOthing moved. Not a single petal, or leaf. Not a single person or hair. Nothing moved in them they just stood there being beautiful like a tiny moment of the life of a object.
It's so cool. Like a little moment in time, caught, and just captured. It's so neat.
They got to an area where the pictures were nothing. Just splots of paint, and slabs of color. Avalon couldn't wrap her head around them at all. She could understand taking pictures or painting people and flowers, but she didn't understand what was so great about a yellow circle with a black X in the center surrounded by red and black polka dots. What the point was she could not figure out so they headed out of the area and to another.
Do you come here a lot though? Because it's free? What are your other favorite places in London?
