He had enough.
Avalon beamed at him, and she gave him a big tight hug as he let go of her hands to reach around and get out his wallet. Muggle money was majority of paper and a mixture of different coins. But she found that it was a lot easier to carry a wad of that around than the jangling coin bag. She watched as he paid the amount, exactly to the woman who put the money in the drawer that popped out of the bottome of the register with all the buttons on the top. Avalon wondered what made that work. There were so many things that the muggles had that seemed to work on their own and yet she knew they didn't have magic. Even if it was a wizard working here, which it wasn't, they wouldn't be able to use magic in front of muggles so she knew that wasn't it.
Muggles had created their own versions of magic.
They got the bag and she walked out with him and with a smile on her face, her hand in his as they stepped back out into the busy mall. Her stomach said it was time to eat something, and she found that the smells coming from a food area not too far away were making her stomach grumble softly. She looked over at him.
I bet the food here isn't expensive. We could sit down and have a quick lunch. Then head to your place for a little down time before the movie. You said it wasn't until dark so.. we could hang out there for a little while together, if you don't mind showing off your place.
They decided it would work, and headed for the food court which was filled with people that were sharing lunches with other people. Some that worked in the mall others were just shoppers enjoying what the mall had to offer. She couldn't help but be excited to be here. They walked around and she decided that she wanted to try this thing called a pizza. So they got a slice each and went to sit down with a coke to share because they had already kissed afterall and it saved a little money. If they didn't buy two cokes. So she sat down across from him and saw another muggle fold their pizza in half and eat it like that. So she followed suit and took a bite. Grease exploded into her mouth and a little down her chin that she quickly grabbed at a napkin for.
Chewing and wiping at the same time. She giggled looking over at Fred. She couldn't help but have fun with him around. Normally she would have been mortified to be cleaning herself up in front of him. But she wasn't. Because she knew he wasn't like that. He wouldn't belittle her for that but he might laugh with her and that was fine. She was learning ways to take things that weren't always bad. Maybe the problems she had at school weren't always the other people's fault but her own as well.
Hey... I know we've been like.. dating for like.. an hour and all but I was wondering. If you would be willing to come visit me in Hogsmede when I have to return to school? So it won't always be long distance?
She was okay if he said no. Or if he said he would have to think about it. But it came into her mind and she wanted to know what he thought about the possibility that might happen. But she kind of hoped he would be up for it. They only went like once a month, but it would be nice to see him, during that time so that they could have a little mini date when she was at school and keep their relationship alive.

Fred blushed heavily as Avalon hugged him. He hadn't been expecting that kind of thank you for just buying her a dress. Not that he was complaining of course. He was practically having to resist giving her some sort of kiss. The Cashier had given them a knowing look, and Fred had given a sheepish smile right back. He stuffed the wallet back into his pocket. He'd gotten used to the cash register deal, and wasn't really focused on that anyway, with his attention being diverted to Avalon. Now that they were officially dating he didn't need an excuse to look at her, and seeing her happy brought a huge smile to his dial.
All was definitely good in the world as they got the bag with the dress and the shoes. His hand had found Avalon's once again as they left the store and a smile equal to Avalon's was on his face. Not to be out done his stomach let out a rumble that was a bit heavier then his girlfriends. The fact that he had been to nervous to eat breakfast that morning had probably helped that matter to an extent.
"Introducing you to muggle fast food should be an interesting task. I hope you like choice, because I think you're going to love it." He thought about the second part of that statement for a few moments. "Sounds like a decent enough plan. And you can have a shower and get changed while we're there. Might even have a few cosmetics from the self proclaimed 'Ex's' there if you need some."
Fred was more then a little surprised when Avalon wanted to try pizza of all things. There was definitely a lot of selection in the food court, and she had gone for one of the simpler dishes. It definitely allowed for a small chuckle to escape as she chose. He was more then happy to share a coke, especially when it saved a couple of quid that they could spend at the movies later. He was a traditionalist when it came to eating pizza slices and started from the crush.
He couldn't help but let out a little giggle himself at the grease explosion that came out of Avavlon's mouth. It took it for what it was, an amusing little moment, rather then anything negative about Avavlon herself. Just because she didn't know how to eat a slice of pizza didn't speak ill of her at all. At least not Fred's eyes, and he hoped that was what counted.
"We've been dating that long? Feelings like we've been doing it for much, much longer." He observed honestly. "And I'm sure I can visit you. Heck, if I sweet talk my father, I might even be able to line up my days off with your Hogsmeade weekends."
Yeah it was a snap decision, but he was determined to make this relationship work and not fall to the wayside like so many of his friendships and relationships had in the fast. If that meant he even had to day or two off here and there, then so be it. And he could always visit his cousin Molly whole he was there. She'd always sent him owls complaining how they never got to see each other anyway. It sounded like a great plan.

Avalon was more than pleased when he said he would come visit her even when she returned to school. That meant the world to her, because she did not want to lose her boyfriend. She wanted to make sure that they could still have time together. Because school was important and Avalon didn't think she had it in her to just leave. besides, the relationship was too new with Fred for her to worry about that at this moment. She figured that mabye one day, they would be close enough for it to mean something. For her to be willing to make big changes for him. But, she was pretty sure that they were both that way. She didn't want to rush into things, and she doubted that he did too.
Great! I would really appreciate that. I'll let you know as soon as I can, when our visits are. It will be really nice to be able to see you and have something to look forward to.
It would help her get through school a lot more than not. She would have something to drive her to the times she would see Fred. She would have something to look forward to, when she would be able to have some fun and see her boyfriend. She would also be really happy the first time that the others showed up and realized that she had a boyfriend now and she didn't have to be so alone and rejected everywhere she went. Plus she could only imagine all the owls that they could send back and forth and talk to each other.
It would be so fun and romantic.
They both finished their pizza and shared their soda. It was a beautiful day so far, and she couldn't wait for tonight when she would be able to go out with him in her pretty dress that he had bought her. She still had to figure out how she was going to pay him back. Avalon smiled as they got up and threw away their garbage and she took his hand so that they would be able to leave.
Lets go to your place.
She never thought that she would say those words. Especially, to a boy. One that she liked. And never to someone in the Weasley family. It wasn't that she was shocked by his name or anything. It was more that she just knew that he had status and that was something that she didn't have. So she was so surprised that he cared so much for her. This shy little red headed girl that was still in school. They began to head back out of the mall. She had her hand in his, and was eager to see his muggle place. She wasn't sure what they would do there. They didn't have magic and she wasn't sure if he had books or anything but she was sure that they could find something to do.

It was going to be interesting to see those Hogwarts students that actually still remembered him and who he had come to know during Hogwarts visits. Especially when they saw him with Avalon, considering the reputation as a dater of fine women. Not that Avalon wasn't a fine woman, it was just that she didn't quite fit his so called criteria of hot chicks when it came to dating. There was definitely going to be positives and negatives when their relationship was discovered. On one hand, Avalon's popularity was going to spike dramatically, while on the other, she was going to be hated by a decent majority of his self proclaimed fan club. The letters for both of them were definitely going to be fun.
But at this point he just wanted to spend time with Avalon and see if their relationship went anywhere. Even with frequent visits during the school year and during holidays and what have you, there was no guarantee for their relationship. Even if they ended up being really good friends, Fred could accept that. But their relationship was still in the early stages of development mode, and he wanted to see where it went.
"There's no pressure, love. But it would be nice to see you on a regular basis."
Who knew, maybe the fact that he was her boyfriend would help her out socially. Fred was still relatively well know around the school through many of the seniors and if they saw him with Avalon, they might take notice. Hell they might develop into friends and she might even find someone else. Plus he could use a true friend to contact on a regular basis. And a girlfriend even more so. It would make a major difference to be sure.
Fun and romantic to be sure. If he could wrangle it.
He honestly couldn't believe how fast they finished their pizza slices and their shared bottle of coke. But it seemed their entire morning so far had gone rather quickly. Something which amazed Fred greatly. It was something to adjust to. It would also be interesting how it applied to their time together at New Years. But that was the future and he was content to live in the now where he was with Avalon and they seemed to be literally inseparable. Whether it was hugging or holding hands they always seemed to be touching one another. He wondered what would happen once they got back to his place when Avalon mentioned it.
"Sounds like a plan. Come on."
He was slightly nervous as he lead his girlfriend out of the mall towards the bus stop that would take them to his flat. Usually he was happy to find a secluded spot and apperate, but he decided that today the muggle route would be the way to go. Though he was a wizard he wasn't above using muggle transport. Fred wanted to give his girlfriend the full experience. Hopefully she enjoyed the bus ride as he waved down the appropriate ride.

Together, they headed out. And she was left to her thoughts as they walked with one another. About how so far, they had not yet let go of one another. If they were not hugging they were holding hands, and then there was that one kiss. God. She really wanted another one. She wondered how she could do something like that. When would be a good moment for a second kiss. When was it time for one. Was there like an accepted waiting period? Was there some sort of protocol when you were going in for a kiss. The last one just kind of happened and she liked it that way. But she wasn't sure how the rest of them would work, she would have to let Fred show her how everything worked in a relationship when it concerned being physical with one another.
They walked to something called a bus stop and waited. Soon enough there was a large red bus that came by and stopped. She and Fred got on and luckily found a seat together. She was by the window, and Fred with his long legs were out by the alley. She felt a little self conscious. Sitting here with all these muggles around them, traveling as muggles did.
She knew that Fred wouldn't let anything bad happen to her and she didn't really think anything would but being surrounded on a stinky bus with muggles was bound to make an already shy girl nervous. Her hand slid into his as they settled in their seat and she couldn't resist to put her head on his shoulder. She was trying to be forward he seemed to like that but there were certain things she couldn't do she didn't feel comfortable enough to just kiss him or anything that would come with time and wouldn't be instant. She figured that he would understand that though.
This is neat. There is a whole upstairs and everything. I've only seen these in pictures.
To anyone listening she would merely seem like a tourist. Like a girl with a similar accent to all of them but obviously not from the area. Her wide innocent eyes as she stared out the window as the city passed had already made that much obvious. Still though, she was excited to see everything that the city had to offer. But more so she was excited to go to Fred's apartment and see how the muggles lived. She remembered that the Professor had shown them a little illusion of what it was like, but it would never measure up to the real thing. So she was really excited to step inside one. She had never thought that was possible.
Her free hand toyed with the necklace he had given her for Christmas. Her package from the store and her purse lay in her lap as she got comfortable for the ride. It wasn't long before the bus stopped and Fred shifted saying it was time for her to get up so they could get off. They exited the bus and stepped back onto the streets and Avalon looked up at Fred.
I'm really excited to see your place.

Fred couldn't wait to kiss Avalon again. The last one had been more then a little impromptu, but it was nonetheless very enjoyable. He was desperate to feel what he'd felt once again, but he wasn't sure how Avalon would feel about being kissed again. She seemed very new to the whole relationship, and he was quite possibly feeling his way a little blindly when it came to this part of true dating. Had she been any of the others that he'd 'dated' they would've still been making out by now, and regularly. God, they all seemed so simple. Maybe once they got back to his apartment. Yeah, when they got back to his apartment. All he had to do is hope that she didn't mind.
He had taken this bus once or twice himself, and actually recognised one or two of the passengers that rode along with the wizarding pair. They gave Fred a nod in greeting and one even smiled at the fact that the teen seemed to have found himself in love. Used to standing while riding the bus system, he found it strange to be sitting down. But he wasn't going to complain as his legs spilled out into the isle. Fred was kind of glad that he'd brought his Oyster Card, as it meant he didn't have to expend any more money then he had to.
He flashed Avalon a smile as they took their seat, hoping she was okay. Fred really wasn't sure if he should ask, but he did continue to smile as her hand found his. He blushed slightly when she put her head on his shoulder, managing to plant a small kiss on her forehead. It seemed like a perfectly natural thing to do. It was what people in relationships did, right? He'd certainly seen others do it, so it must be. He was still figuring out this whole kissing thing, but he was willing to take the lead in that area if that was what Avalon wanted. At least Fred hoped she did.
"It is kind of cool actually. I remember running round like a maniac when I first rode on of these way back. Almost got thrown off for causing a disturbance, but I was having to much fun to care."
He thought that story might amuse Avalon a little bit. Especially when most of the people would assume she was a tourist, or at least new to the area. Fred wasn't sure if they had double deckers elsewhere in England, and hopefully most of the people here didn't know either. During all this, he couldn't help but wonder if any of what they had done had lived up to what his girlfriend had learnt in muggle studies. Fred would undoubtedly have to find out. Later though. When they could talk freely.
The bus stopped near is place, not to much later. It wasn't the greatest part of town, looking a but run down and shabby compared to where they had been. But to him it had become home, and he loved it. Especially considering how cheap the rent was. He looked back at Avalon, a grin still present and accounted for.
"And I'm really excited to show it to ya. Come on."
Taking her hand again, Fred head down the street towards his flat. With a few twists and turns, and a trip through a somewhat smell alleyway the arrived beside a laundrette that had a small alleyway beside it. Steeling himself, the teen Weasley lead Avalon down the short alleyway to a small door. With a practised ease, Fred pulled a set of keys and unlocked the door. With a quick thump it opened and he gestured for her to go first a confident smile shining at her.

It's so cool here, really it is. I can't wait to come back sometime.
Avalon and Fred got off the bus and headed down a few streets. She was excited to see the place. She was interested in seeing what a muggle place was like. How the water worked and how everything worked. She wanted to see how it was decorated. She wanted to see everything and she wanted more insight on what Fred was like. Especially in his comfort zone which would probably be out of her own comfort zone but that would be totally worth it though, she had to admit. It would be nice just to go and see what was what.
They walked down an alley way and she stuck as close to Fred as she could. It was dark down here, and she felt like she was a bit closed in. She could't use magic to light the way like she would have where she back at home. So she merely had to trust Fred. It was still daylight. But the buildings were tall and they were shading the alley to make it quite a bit darker than just being out on the streets. Plus she had heard her mother talking about the things that happened on the London streets to muggles caught unaware. And while she wasn't supposed to use magic against muggles she knew that she would to save herself or Fred's life.
They got to the small door that was in the alleyway and she paused in front of it with Fred. He got out a set of keys and with expert skill he went through them and found himself the right key. He put it in the door and a few moments the door was pushed open and they stepped in.
She bit her lower lip as she stepped in with her bags. The lights came in from the windows and she put her bags down just inside the door and slid off her tennis shoes with some practiced moves because she didn't want to track anything in his apartment. She wasn't sure how he cleaned or if he cared but she was trying to be respectful of his place. She looked around. There was a small kitchen, a living area, and she assumed there was a bedroom and a bathroom even though she wasn't checking or anything she figured that he would give her the tour if he wanted to but she wasn't going to worry about it so much. He would show her when and if he wanted to.
She was happy to be here.
This is a nice place. I've never seen a muggle place before. Will you show it to me? I want to see how everything works. It's so amazing. I can't wait to see it all. I'm sure you love it here. I wish I could live somewhere. Like this. A place all by myself. Or with someone special. I get tired of my family, and school is so noisy you know.
She chuckled as she turned to face him waiting for the tour or.. whatever he really wanted to do.

Most if not all the furniture and furnishings in the apartment were second or third hand items. A two seater couch looked over stuffed and was worn out and sat in front of a cabinet holding a record player connected to a stereo that also had a CD player. A number of CD's and records sat on a self underneath the stereo. Despite having cleaned the day before, his breakfast dishes rested in the sink and a discarded suit jacket rested on the sole dining chair that sat under a school desk that was serving as his dining room table. A couple of muggle movie posters hung on the walls, one of the original Die Hard and the other advertising a long since passed Blues show from a club that probably no longer existed. Other then that it was a pretty normal muggle furnishings that could be afforded on a small budget.
Fred smiled at Avalon's compliment. He was still trying to make the place look homely, but he figured he'd done an okay job so far. Slipping off his own shoes he stepped into the apartment. "Sounds like a plan." He agreed. "Guess we can start here in the living room if you'd like. Have you guys covered electricity in muggle studies yet?" If not then this was going to be interesting.
Explaining everything else was going to be fun without having to go into stuff like electricity. Not that he had much to explain. Apart from how electricity powered the stereo and record player and how hot water worked, most of the stuff was similar to their counterparts in the magical world. He'd have to wait and see what her answer was though.

Everything was simple.
But, it was probably because he bought it all himself. She still hadn't been able to figure out a conversion rate and wasn't exactly sure how to go about that. Math wasn't exactly require cirriculum at Hogwarts. Still t hough, she knew that she could find something somewhere. Though she could not ask her mother who might actually know, nor her brother as they would want to know why. She couldn't tell them that she had recently been to London and wanted to know so next time she went she could take some money along. Her family would flip. She was a pure blooded wizard, she wasn't supposed to be fraternizing with the muggles.
Avalon herself didn't have any problem with muggles.
They were innovative and she supposed that she was strange for thinking that way. The Magically Un-Gifted were looked down upon from other people, but there were half bloods that did amazing things with magic. Like Fred's Aunt. She was not a pure wizard, but she was smart. Sometimes, Avalon wondered why she hadn't been placed in Ravenclaw to begin with, considering her admirable intelligence.
Yes, we've covered electricity. We've covered a lot of major things just not so much on the little things.
The living room did't have much furniture. But the apartment was small anyway she doubted there would be room for a lot of furniture. It was all old and probably very comfortable. That tended to be the way things were. The desk that was somehow a desk/dining table seemed to serve well but only had one chair. No room for guests. But she supposed he must not have many. She wondered how often he showed his place to girls. If he ever brought muggle girls here or if it were just wizard girls, and what any of them thought of it. Or dare she think she was the very first girl he had brought here. She doubted that too.
I like it though. It looks so comfortable. My mom is a super clean mom. The kind that doens't let you get the furniture dirty and the kind that has spells on the house that get the dirt from your shoes, and clean the carpets every hour. It's kind of annoying actually. This feels really comfortable here.
Avalon looked around. Running her hand across the back of the small couch that faced some sort of electronical devices. They had large speaker like things so she assumed that they were some sort of music players. Plus! Ha! A CD collection, so that answered that.
Oh! That reminds me
She dug in her bottomless handbag and came out with his CD that she had gotten him for Christmas. She placed it on the shelf with the player, so that way she wouldn't have to worry about forgetting to give it to him later. This way it was all taken care of.
What else is there here?

Despite his dislike for shopping, Fred had always had thing for finding what he wanted. It was a genetic trait he was sure. But despite this, he was still trying to find posters and pictures to add some colour to the place. The two posters where a start, but no way was he going to stop there. He needed more. Once this Weasley got done there'd be something on every wall and you wouldn't be able to tell what the colour of the wall actually was. Until then he was going to have to make do with what he could get. And two posters was it for now. They were definite examples of what muggles could achieve without magic. Along with his reasonablly sized music collection, which he had to admit had consumed a reasonably large portion of his wages up to this point. There might be a few readjustments of course, now that he had a girlfriend and what have you.
He could actually see how his Aunt Hermione and Uncle Harry had survived without magic prior to being sent their Hogwarts letter, and he was proud. it was one of the reasons he'd decided to take up a residence in muggle London as soon as he'd saved up enough money for the bond for his current apartment. These days he couldn't imagine living anywhere else, especially not back in the magical world. Besides there was still to much left for him to experience out in the muggle world before he even thought about moving back. Like flying in an aeroplane, or the different foods that were on offer. And the music. Who could forget the music? Especially blues. Perfectly exquisite blues music. Oh how he loved it so.
"Well then, I can show you hove my stereo works then. Why don't you put out a CD or record you take a fancy to, and I can play it while I give you the nickle and dime tour?"
Fred looked over at the lone chair that sat with his desk/dining table and his borrow creased for a few moments. He might actually have to get another seat at some point. Especially if he was going to have Avalon over on a semi-regular basis. His mother had managed to instil the fact that dinner was eaten at the table and not anywhere else, and so was lunch unless it was a special occasion. He'd been luck in the fact that he hadn't really brought anyone else home for dinner. Not that he'd actually brought many girls back here of course. Not many indeed. In fact, there were actually very few people outside of his family who actually knew where he lived. Privacy was a big thing for him considering his large extended family.
"This place is usually a pig sty, so be glad I had a chance to clean the place up. But it does have that comfy, at home feeling to it doesn't it?"
The first night he'd spent here had been amazing. It had made him feel like an actual independent adult. He'd only had his bed and a few essentials but the fact that he had his own place and could come and go as he pleased was just an amazing feeling. It still felt excellent. He was glad he could share it with someone special.
"Not to much actually. Just my bedroom and the bathroom. I've been looking into a way to expand the place once I figure out what I want to add, and I can actually afford to get it. If I expand it all of course."

Avalon looked through the CD's. She came up with one that she had actually had heard of before and she got it out. She handed it over to Fred who opened it and she watched with curious eyes as he lifted the CD out of it's case and he pushed a button. A tray came out of the machine and she gasped. Jumped slightly but she didn't budge, she was much too curious for that. He placed the CD inside the tray and pressed the button again. It disappeared into the machine and soon music began to play.
Wow.
That was so neat. Muggles were so smart. She wondered if that made wizards lazy. So able to wave a wand and a cup of coffee was made, poured, and served to them and they never had to do anything but lift up their wand and swish and flick. And these muggles had worked so hard to figure things out and found out ways to make music play and to make all kinds of things.
Fred mentioned that he wanted to expand the place when he got more money. That would be nice, the place was quite small and she was sure that it wasn't in the best place. The door being down an alleyway. But she also figured that it wasn't that bad. Fred was a wizard. He could take care of himself. But she had heard stories about guns and she didn't think that even magic could stop a bullet. She wanted Fred to be safe.
Well show me the rest.
She was eager, to see everything. And she was eager to sit down and cuddle with Fred. Or do something 'else' with Fred really she just wanted to get to know him better and she wanted to have more fun. She was also looking forward to when he would kiss her again. She wondered if that ws the kind of thing that only really happened in bedrooms or if that could happen anymore. She supposed it was up to them because she had seen tons of students making out in corners of Hogwarts, and so she was sure that it didn't have to be a bedroom.
But it seemed like a good place anyway.
How often do you stay here? Every night?

Fred wasn't sure what to think when he heard Avalon's gasp. He knew that the CD player was something different, but he didn't think it was that amazing. But that may have just been his upbringing. His girlfriend definitely had a decent taste in music as the CD began to play. It was one of his mainstream music favourites, and he hummed a little as the music started to play. It was a little habit of his, as he tended to listen to music alone. He smiled openly as he turned back to Avalon.
He wondered what Avalon would've made of television, if he'd had one. He'd had one on his to buy list, but it wasn't exactly very high thereon. Fred preferred his music to the television programs he'd seen. Except maybe for cartoons. He loved cartoons. Especially Tom and Jerry. They were freaking hilarious the few times he'd seen them. It was amazing what muggles could put together when they put their minds to something. Definite genius's the lot of them. Or most of them. There were some idiots and bigots out there, just like their was in the magical world.
The flat wasn't the greatest thing this side of Knockturn, but it would do for now. The rent was cheap and the landlord didn't really give a damn about what he did to the place so long as he didn't blow it to kingdom come. Whatever that was. He'd made a note to ask Auntie Hermione, but hadn't quite got round to it yet. Fred had had one or two close calls with some of the local ruffians, but it wasn't anything a few well executed pranks couldn't cure. Hopefully he didn't have to face down a gun any time soon. They sounded nasty.
"As my lady commands." Agreed the Weasley teen with a mock bow and a cheeky grin. He decided to start with the bedroom first. Better to get the more awkward room out of the way first, right? Hopefully.
Fred didn't want to screw it up. It was all going so well. He stepped to one of the two closed doors and pushed it open with a squeek or three. The hinges were in need of an oiling, and since he'd cashed out most of his money, oil was still needed. "May I present the Fred A. Weasley master bedroom," he stated with an air of sophistication. Just because he was nervous, it didn't mean he wasn't going to take the mickey wherever he could.
"Unless I'm working late, I pretty much stay here." Mainly because the place didn't have a fireplace, so he couldn't hooked it up to the floo network. And he wasn't a huge fan of appiration. Sure he could do it fine. But that didn't mean he had to like it, right? If he worked late then he usually ended up slumming it at a relatives place for the night.

Avalon couldn't help but laugh when he gave a little bow to her. To be honest, she thought he was adorable. He constantly, was making her laugh or giggle, and she was pretty sure that every second she spent with him she had at least a slight smile on her face. Except when they kissed that one time, but the smile after the kiss totally made up for the whole not smiling for the few moments their lips met together. She wondered when that would happen again? Was it normal to obsess over your second kiss when it hadn't been that long since the first? She bit her lower lip as she followed him across the room and to one of the two doorways, the other must be the bathroom, by process of elimination.
He opened the door and said welcome to his bedroom. And before she could even stop herself she asked a question.
What does the A stand for? In Fred A. Weasley?
She hadn't meant to do that. But she was curious what it stood for. And he had brought it up so she figured that it couldn't be too embarassing. It probably was his Grandfather's name or something, but you could never be sure. Avalon stepped fully into the room. It was like the rest of the apartment, mainly just held the important things. But that was all someone really needed. He told her that unless he worked late, he stayed here. This was where he lived and she was really thrilled to be here and see a little of an insight into Fred's life. She stood close to the bed just looking over everything. It was a great place. She wished that she had a place like this. A place where she would be able to have fun and relax.
Eat when she wanted to. Go to bed when she wanted to. Do anything when she wanted to. She could do the dishes, or not. It would be completely up to her, and that would be... heaven. She was always tired of her mother, and her mother's vast prejudices. She missed her father a great deal. HIs death had been very hard on the already introverted girl. But now she felt like with Fred's help she could finally be who she was really meant to be. At least shen she was around him. When she wasn't, she would probably remain the same Avalon that she had always been.
Your place looks so comfortable. I think I would love to stay in a place like this. I can't wait til I can move out. I also kinda figured when I moved out, I might live above my shop if there was enough room. That way I'd only have to pay rent once. Instead of twice, but I'll figure that out later.
She ran her fingers over the covers on the bed, and turned to face Fred again those blue eyes looking up at him. She really admired him, where he had already gone with his life.

Ah, laughter. Such an excellent reaction. Especially from Avalon. Fred doubted that he'd managed to get so much honest laughter or giggling and/or smiles from one person in then he had from his girl friend. He'd possibly gotten more out of his friends from way back, but half of it was forced or fake. And he hated fake or forced laughter. It just made you sound stupid. Adding to that was fact that Avalon seemed to just light up when she laughed. It was so awesome, or at least Fred thought so, and that was what counted in his opinion and maybe in Avalon's. He couldn't wait to hear more of it, and maybe some giggling as well.
Not that he could wait to kiss her again either, he just wasn't sure of when to do it again himself. The guy was supposed to make the first move, but when? Why did real relationships have to be so hard?
"A in this case if for Arthur. After my granddad on my dad's side. A more excellent man you will never meet."
Most of the Weasley clan, and even the non-Weasley's like Harry and Hermione and his mother had a great respect for Arthur Weasley. He'd earnt it every step of the way, and who wouldn't when you'd somehow managed to raise seven great kids on a shoestring budget? But it was more then that. The man exuded love and always had time for his family, no matter what he was doing. The day he died would indeed be a very sad, sad day indeed.
But that wasn't the focus here, as much as Fred would be happy to talk about his grandfather. His room wasn't big. It was anything but. You wouldn't have enough space to swing a dead cat, should you choose to do so. There were indeed a few spells that did involve swinging dead animals, but Fred didn't really want or need to know them. There were a combination of muggle and wizard photos on a cheap dresser. They of him in front some landmarks but most of them were of his family, immediate and not. Some of the photos waved at the pair, and couple of the people in them looked like were wolf-whistling. But everything was simple enough. The fancy stuff didn't interest Fred to much, unless it was a prank or something.
"Ah thank you, ah thank you," was the cheeky reply to Avalon's compliments about his room. Heck he may have even blushed a little. But he wasn't going to admit to that at all. "And I'm sure there will be, even if you have to convert some of the storage space in the back or something. Just be careful what you're brewing though."
As she looked up at him, Fred felt the urge to kiss her once again. And being the so called impulsive Weasley that he was, Fred finally decided to give in to said impulse. With a bit of a grin he stepped towards Avalon and planted a soft kiss on her lips.

I had a feeling that A was for Arthur, your grandfather but I wasn't sure. It could have really been for anything and I didn't want to jump to conclusions.
In his room. They seemed comfortable enough. She wasn't brave enough to sit on the edge of his bed or anything, but she was comfortable enough not to be sinking inside herself or anything and willing to continue to walk while they stood there. He told her that she probably could make a little space for herself in her shop if she wanted to she just might have to sacrifice some storage space. It would be easy to do. All she would really need was a bed and a tiny place to cook some food. She didn't need much.
I'm sure I can make it work with some clever thinking and small furniture.
She chuckled.
He then came over to her, and she kind of knew what was going to happen. She had no idea that it would be so easy, so quick. But she was glad that it was. He came over to her, a man on a mission and he took her lips once more for his own. She ran her hands up his chest and softly clasped them behind his neck. Holding herself as close to him as she possibly could while they kissed for the second time today. Really, in private this time which was something special, she thought. Because no one was here to judge them, no one was here to interupt, and they had no where to really be. Except to their movie later, and she didn't know when that was but it wasn't right now so they were good.
When the kiss broke softly, she gave him a gentle smile. But she didn't step away. Her heart was racing, in a good way, and her body seemed to tingle from her hair to her toes. She felt comfortable with Fred though. He seemed to understand that she wasn't fast like some of the girls he had probably been with. She was gentle, and needed a gentle hand. She was glad for that. But she was also stepping out of her comfort zone just a little bit. But it was constantly rewarding her with Fred.
Her lips reached up and kissed him again. This time she intiated the kiss instead of him, just to show him that he wasn't the only one that wanted and enjoyed the kisses. So she kissed him softly, but each time their lips met it seemed as though it was just a little bit more passionate than the last. She had only just become his girlfriend so she would't be willing to do too much, but she was open to some. She didn't want him to feel like he had a horrible girlfriend or anything, but she wasn't ready for the big things just yet. Most girls would have already been jumping into his bed with a grin and a little come here motion. Not Avalon, she was content with the kissing for now.
