Mallory sat at her desk trying to finish her messy desk full of grades. One of her students who stayed late just left and she finally felt calm for some reason? She was in a hurry still tho, because she was gonna have a little date with Alistair. She really did miss him, even tho she's seen him every single day. She needed to spend some time with him, to get things off her mind. She stacked all over papers together and stuffed them in her brief case. She used to always thought they were lame, but when she started teaching at Hogwarts it like saved her life, and so did Alistair.
She grabbed her brief case and started to head up the stairs toward the Gryffindor common room. She saw quite a few of her students on her way up there and she couldn't help, but smile. Some how all these young wizards brightened her day, well even more than it was already. She waited patiently on the stairs waiting for them to move, but she was in a hurry. She wanted to change out of her skirt, and blouse. She felt so old wearing it, and she preferably hoped to get there before Alistair.
Mallory ran up the stairs as they started to move. She was afraid she was gonna fall in her heels, but she some how made it up. She took a second to laugh at herself. How could he put up with her? She grinned at the thought of the warmth of his hug. She came to the Fat Lady's portrait, and softly whispered the password. "Hello professor Rodgers." A few students said as she passed by waving. She ran up towards their room and smiled. She saw the door was locked so she grabbed out her key, and sighed in relief. Maybe she did beat him!
She practically burst through the door in excitement throwing down her brief case and running over towards her trunk full of clothing. She grabbed a silk night gown, and some house shoes. She quickly changed into her attire, and ran over to mirror. Her hair was a mess of curls. She sighed as she tried to fix it, or something, but it didn't seem to work. She heard footsteps. She quickly hid under the bed, wanting to burst into laughter. She felt like she was back in her Hogwart years again.

Alistair was quite lucky he was the Flying professor. The flying professors didn't need anything, minus a handful of brooms and a quaffle or two. He was stomping up the staircases impatiently, pausing to stop a few times for the stairs to change positions. He was getting quite restless... he hadn't sat down to have an honest-to-goodness conversation with his very serious girlfriend in ages, and he was starting to get a bit antsy. Their conversations had consisted of, "How was work today?" and the occasional, "Do anything interesting lately?", so Alistair was naturally looking to spice up their relationship in some way, shape, or form.
After a few moments of useless nonsense, he was finally about to reach the door to the common room. He stopped in front of the fat lady who was singing at the top of her lungs, then finally turned around and said, "Password, Mr. Blair?" in her operetic voice. He rolled his eyes... he had been through this with her before! He was the head of Gryffindor. He didn't need to say a password. But there was obviously no point in arguing with a painting, so he said, "Wingardium Leviosa," and watched as the portrait swung open. He climbed through the door into the common room, and looked around. There wasn't a sign of Mallory, so he decided to call out for her. "Mallory... Mallory? You there?" he called out, but recieved no response.
He made his way into the staff dormitory area of the Gryffindor dorms, and opened the door the the room that he and Mallory shared. There was a queen sized bed decorated lavishly with gold and red velvet, but that was about as fancy as it got. The rest of the room was quite plain, except for a dresser, a bookcase, and a desk. He dropped his broom on the ground and walked around the room, still not catching site of her. "Mallory?" he said once more, yet still didn't get a response. He sighed, then slid off his pants and underwear and put on a pair of boxers, then took off his cloak and button-down shirt to put on a plain white t-shirt. He didn't understand why he had to dress so formally for such an informal position... it wasn't like he was Potions master or anything- he was the flying instructor for gosh sakes! But either way, he did what the headmaster told him.
He approached the bed pulled himself under the covers, but quickly jumped as his leg brushed against something that felt oddly like... skin. He caught is breath for a moment after he saw Mallory's brown hair peeking out from underneath the comforter. "Mallory?" he asked once more, a hint of his signature crooked smile appearing on his face. He shook the lump that was underneath the comforter, then said, "You scared me to death!" with a laugh. He leaned back up against the pillows as he waited for her response.

Mallory was so busy trying to get ready and look nice she hadn't even noticed she had a random feather stuck in her hair. She couldn't help, but laugh. She never knew how this happened, but she always had something in her hair, and it was hilarious to her. She grabbed a hair brush and hurriedly ran it through her hair and ducked under the sheets.
She looked down towards the end of the bed and saw her sock. She giggled and laid still as she heard Alistairs voice. She grinned as he called out her name. She tried not to laugh. She looked up and saw some of her curly mess of hair sticking outside of the sheets, and saw her love coming towards the bed. She couldn't help but giggle, as she got out from under the covers.
Mallory laid back towards her pillow, and smile as he talked. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." She said hiding her face in the palms of her face. She blushed a little and scrambled back under the sheets like she used to when she was little. She avoided his legs and laughed. She always hid from him whenever she blushed, and hoped he'd just ignore the big lump.

Alistair just smirked and put his hands behind his head as he lay on top underneath the covers the covers. He wasn't expecting such a sympathetic response so he grabbed her in a bear hug and kissed her cheek. "Hey, don't worry about it," he said comfortingly, before kissing the top of her head. He sighed as he held her close to him... he had really desperately missed her. The two of them never just sat there and cuddled anymore. Even when they were falling asleep, they'd just stick to seperate sides of the bed. He hated to say that they were in some sort of rut, but it seemed as though they were. Hey, who knows! Maybe tonight that would all change.
He quickly kissed her lips and gave her a playful look as he stared her down. God, she was absolutely stunning. Alistair had no idea what he did to deserve someone like her. He felt quite guilty, really. She deserved so much more than what he could give her. She always had to take a back seat to his job and his hobbies (AKA Quidditch), and Alistair knew that it killed her. But for whatever crazy reason, she stayed with him. He hadn't even told her he loved her yet. He wasn't very affectionate, very good looking, or very loyal, but for whatever reason she was always there for him. He pulled back and just looked at her for a moment, then whispered, "I love you, Mallory," as he just gave her a goofy smile.

Mallory some how always seemed very goofy. She thought it was just incredible that Alistair was still around. They never really told how they felt about each other, but she was just in love with him. She hates that she is, but she's glad. She had a very hard life, but she's learned to forget the past, but she just couldn't and Alistair always helped her fill the hole in her heart. She smiled as she came out of the sheets to see him smiling. I love you. He's sweet voice spoke to her. Was Mallory dreaming? She smiled brightly and hid back under the covers, afraid she was gonna cry from being so happy.
"I love you too." She said mumbled through the covers. She hated that she'd get so emotional. She hated attention, but she never knew why. She just didn't feel like she didn't want him to waste his life. She scooted out, and laid next to Alistair, with her head on his chest, listening to his steady heart beat. She remembered the first time she ever saw her baby girl's heart beat. She sighed feeling a little down. What if Alistair was to replace her? She couldn't live anymore. He was her life, and he meant everything to her.
"Promise me something?" She softly said wrapping her arms around his chest. She softly kissed his cheek, and closed her lies. "Please never leave me." A single tear ran down her cheek. She wiped it away, and ran her fingers through her hair. "Ha. Did i tell you? Some of those bloody hell slytherins unleashed, some wild fairy's in my room." She said chuckling. They actually thought they could out smart Mallory. That was so hilarious to her. All she had to do was say one spell and get them all back in a cage. She shook her head. Dumb slytherins.
