teddy! i haven't heard from you in ages! you never come over any more. :c i guess being an auror is busy work. nah, nothing's going too roughly (you might wanna check your sources there, ted), especially with the ladies (except where roughness is justified, if you catch my drift). everyone's great, as usual. how about you teddy? not too auror-ish to stop for a second and visit family, hopefully?

The Ministry didn't really do anything...Though I've seen a lot of things on the job that have changed the way I look at things. There's enough of bad in the world without our help, and I've done plenty to warrant helping even the scales. you don't want to look back and regret what you've done to people. I’m not trouble! .. mostly. Besides, I can take my firewhisky. The last time I got seriously drunk was.. well, actually, that night is a bit foggy, but it was a while ago!
Really? Is being an auror that tough? Maybe Dad should’ve prepared you for that.

I’m not a ponce! Besides, there may be things no one can prepare you for, but surely your entire history at Hogwarts.. surely that means just as much as the events that you weren’t prepared for. Ted, you can’t have changed that much just by becoming an Auror.
