SUP,let me just clear this right here,
a ruby according to my dictionary means,
a transparent deep red variety of corundum;
used as a gemstone a gemstone means,
a precious or semiprecious stone, esp. one
cut, polished, and used in a piece of jewelry.
it is not just "some stupid piece of rock colored
red" does anyone else have anymore problems

Yes, it is a stupid red precious gem that is valued by goblin and muggle alike, used to adorn rings and things. I don't really have much of a problem with it. It is normal. At least you aren't named after a flowering, edible, aquatic plant. What of it, Ruby?

Like, "Oh, why thank you for noticing that I'm named after a RUBY. Are you named after something that is precious and full of value? No? Didn't think so." It is like... saying... You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you can get what you need. And well, arch enemies are need sometimes. They get your act together, even if you don't believe them to be your arch enemy. I am not alluding to Madge at all.
