mysterious stranger ,
Boredom is a sign of an unoccupied mind. There's so much going on in the world, how could you possibly not find a single thing to interest you? Perhaps you should ponder something philosophical to challenge your brain and occupy a bit of time. I could present you a list of topics if you wish.

hey you, [/i] being a student one tends to be less influenced by what is happening in the rest of the world than someone out there living it everyday. and as kind, and condescending, as your offer is i have intellectual pursuits which could occupy my mind i was honestly hoping for something a little more base. i am curious to know what you would recommend though from me[/i][/blockquote]

mysterious stranger ,
Being a student is hardly an excuse to be uninformed of the world. And both kind and condescending is a bit contradicting, don't you think? I'm sure there's a whole range of subjects I could come up with, but you seem to desire something more basic. So you enjoy talking to random strangers to cure boredom? Interesting hobby.
