DONT GO ROUND TONIGHT, IT'S BOUND TO TAKE YOUR LIFE ( THERE'S A BAD MOON ON THE RISE )The leaky cauldron was a common place for Skyanna Pearce to be spotted in, the young professor forgetting long weeks in the bottom of a glass. The stale air of the pub was refreshing for the werewolf, it reminding her of the stuffy room she use to inhabit in her fathers home. It was a reminder of the days that weren't so stressful, a time that her biggest worry was getting her fathers approval. Sighing, Sky glanced down to her glass, hand wrapped loosely around it as she took another sip. Scotch. She was on her second drink so far since she had arrived about half hour ago, Sky trying her best to drown out the many sounds in the pub. It was difficult, her heightened senses making every conversation seem like the people involved were screaming and everyone entering was slamming the door. But she still tried, Sky leaning forward on the bar as she took yet another large gulp, champing the rest of her beverage before ordering more.
Even though this was one of her favorite spots Sky was debating about never coming here again after tonight. To be honest she didn't feel safe, and though she can probably outrun or out-duel any ministry lap dogs that try to make her turn herself in she would prefer to avoid that mess all together. No one has come for her at Hogwarts yet, just annoying ministry workers and pompous attitudes. People here were always buzzing about the latest ministry decree, Sky wanting to hex all the supporters of Delacoix into oblivion. But for the most part she managed to keep her trap shut unless directly spoken to. However tonight was going to be different, Sky could already tell. Her ears fell upon conversation between two gentlemen - if you could call it that - discussing the possibility of one of them becoming a snatcher. I could really use the money! Not to mention Delacroix has the right idea one of them started, Sky rolling her eyes a bit as her new drink arrived, fingers lacing around the glass elegantly.
Being a frequent visitor the tender knew all about Sky. She has spent many nights just chatting with him when things got slow. He gave Sky a sympathetic smile, catching her annoyed disposition, though the conversation was muffled to his human ears. Sky took a sip of her drink, her bright blue orbs floating over her shoulder as she turned to see the two men that were speaking. She caught the eye of one who offered her a flirty smile, Sky snorting in disgust. Dont you feel safer with these new laws? C'mon mate, you know they're dangerous. The last minister was too easy on them. There nothing but animals and deserve to be treated as such! at that moment Sky removed her wand from her black pullover and pointed it at their table, their drinks spewing up from their respective cups like a fountain and spraying each man in the face and chest. She watched over her shoulder, putting her wand away quickly so they wouldn't notice it was her. Confused the men looked around, some others at the pub laughing at their misfortune. Sky smiled to herself feeling accomplished. She snickered a bit before taking another sip of her drink.

please tell that i can have a moment of your time, just one minute. Theo, being the man that he was, never really spent more than a certain amount on coins and women, but tonight… just seemed about the time. Theodore Bond was just one of those people that seemed to never change, he was still a child at heart, as was pointed out by his brother. He was much like a simpering, whimpering child when it came down to things, which was lovely for him, but it also put a little bit of slack on his relationships with others. He never really found many girls interesting for long and he blamed that all on John Wood, or at least he tried to because he had been his influence over the years. Theo was trying to correct his ways now, though he had scored many more actual relationships with girls than what Woody and Evander had, which was a small type of accomplishment, he had to admit. It was something that he could be proud of, even though it was a little bit stupid. He would have to admit that because he wasn’t really here or there with things, but he wanted to change that, which was more than enough. It was his need to change things that seemed to bring him to the Leaky Cauldron in the first place.
Normally, Theo would have gone to the Hog’s Head in the village but since he was on London business he supposed that he could at least swing by, give Hannah a hug and chat with the dear owner of the Leaky Cauldron, just for a bit. It was a good time with her, she was a wonderful person and very kind-hearted. On occasion, Theo even liked to talk to Neville, if he was pottering about the place, but alas, tonight he was probably held up at Hogwarts or something. There was a lot to be done, especially when it came to protecting the students. The brunet had other things on his mind now though. He never really worried all that much before, well there was bludgers’ to the head that could knock him out for weeks and that, but nothing quite as serious as the new laws – not that bludgers and unconsciousness weren’t serious – that effected a lot of people (human-like creatures). The thought made him grumble because there were a lot of good people at risk, one being Victoire, who actually made Thaddeus happy and another was Lux, who he hadn’t really heard from in a while. It was a little bit worrying really but he pushed that out of his mind for a moment.
Gripping his wand in his jacket pocket, he meandered to the Leaky Cauldron, walking in causally. Greeting people as he went by with one of his photo winning smiles he sat himself at the bar. If he had sat at a table, surely there would be people swarming him, but at the bar it was a little less confined and the swarming would be halved by the fact that the bartenders would shoo them easily away. “Just one firewhiskey for now,” Theo called to the barkeep who swiftly complied with a shot glass filled to the brim with the liquor. Theo stared at the shot glass for a moment, and then turned his head hearing a commotion behind him as the whole bar section burst out into a fit of laughter. Someone had put on a show for them.
Now, Theo, being the sober patron at the moment, casually glanced around looking for the instigator. Even so, he was a little surprised to have them land on a person just one stool over. The corner of his lip tugged up slightly as he pushed back the shot. Sliding easily one seat over, a clear grin on his face he called, “Fancy meeting you, here, of all places.” the Bond brother gestured. Skyanna Pearce. She was four years older than him and the years had done her quite the justice. Skyanna was the only girl that ever turned down his charm and that was what made him interested. She had always treated him like a child and well, it frustrated him far more than he would ever let on. He had dreamed about her and had a crush on her for years that persisted till this day, and man he was awestruck (and sappy). “Must be the magnetic attraction between the two of us.” he grinned like the complete and utter twat that he was, drinking in her undeniable beauty.
NOTES; I don't even know what this is... I just wrote... like... seriously... Theo was like "SKY!" and my fingers... just... typed.

AND I'LL BE DISTANT AS STARS REMINISCING ( YOUR HEARTS BEEN WASTED ON ME )Sky wasnt paying any attention to who was entering the Leaky Cauldron, the door sounding like a gunshot to her sensitive ears every time it shut. So she tried to keep her attention away from it, a grin on her face as she watched the men, frustrated and wet demand the cause of such an outrage. Sky played along with everyone else for the moment, merely snickering at their affliction. The men looked to the bar tender for some form of justice, but he merely shrugged. Nothing he could really do about it now, the deed was done and no one was caught. Sky turned back around to face the bar, the tender flashing that 'was that necessary?' look, Sky merel smiling innocently at him while he went to serve a other.
Sky's lack of attention to anyone or anything other then her scotch made Theo's enterance unnoticed to her. She swirled the cup a bit, the ice sitting on the bottom of the cup making small sounds as they made contact with the glass. Half way done with her third drink Sky was feeling pretty nice. Relaxed and calm, it usually took about three drinks to get her at least buzzed. She may be on the tall side but her small figure made her a cheap drunk, which she personally liked. She didn't have to spend an insane amount of money on alcohol like say, a jacked quidditch player would. Sky had just put her glass to her pale pink lips to take a sip when a familiar person sat down next to her, and and even more familiar voice plaguing her ears. She sighed, slightly annoyed at the unwelcome company as she took her sip, putting her glass back down on the counter. She turned her body so she was facing Theodore Bond, a boy she has know for a very long time. "I'd almost prefer the company of a snatcher," she told him with a bit of sass, a small grin coming across her face. "Finally drinking with the big kids Theo?"she asked, her bright blue or a focused on the famous Quidditch player.
Sky and Theo had an interesting relationship. Miss Pearce would consider him a friend, the two having spent a lot of time together back at school. Not so much by choice as by Theo constantly being around her. They shared a love for Quidditch, which was grounds for their friendship, even of Theo always persisted it to be more. Skyanna was well aware of his little crush back in school (though she was unaware it still persisted), but she being four years older then him made them dating taboo. Not that Sky was particularly interested anyways. To Sky, Theo was a predictable sap. She required a more defined kind of romance, not that she was looking. Skyanna had more important things to worry about then having a stable relationship. Still, it was fun to taunt and tease the young-in, Skyanna still finding his company somewhat enjoyable. Sky rolled her eyes at his next comment, feeling so annoyed she grabbed her scotch and finished it off quickly. "Shouldnt you be using lines like that on unsuspecting victims in the hogs head?" she asked, calling the tender over to order herself another.
"What're you drinking?" she questioned Theo, eyes floating over to him as he watched her with that grin on his face, like he was getting a free show. Sky groaned, putting a hand up in front of his face "Stop undressing me with your eyes," she spoke, her words elegant and calm, Skyanna leaning slightly on the counter.

please tell that i can have a moment of your time, just one minute. For a person that lived on being on the right place at the right time, Theo never minded the need to be welcome. It was something that he thought about when he had first become a quidditch player when he was back at Hogwarts. It was something that he had to think about right now because he was really feeling unwelcome now. It wasn’t something so terrible though. He would have found it odd if it was the opposite, especially since Skyanna had never really heeded any of his advances with anything but annoyance. This didn’t bother him too much since his ego was big enough to soften the blow multiple times over. “Well snatchers wouldn’t be so kind to you.” he said rather flatly knowing the dangers of what was happening with the Ministry so far. It wasn’t like it was a cake walk anymore. People that he knew intimately well were being hunted down and he could do nothing but stand by and watch them go. It was probably the first time that he had ever felt so useless in his life, which was saying a lot considering it was Theo and he hardly admitted to anything, even on a good day. “Always been drinking with the big boys,” he added soon after, which was true considering he had been drinking since he was fourteen.
Theodore Bond never really minded Skyanna all that much, sure he wanted to be more than friends but he wouldn’t press his luck with things, even though he jokingly pursued every now and again once she left Hogwarts. Theo never though that his chances had faded even though he was sure that there were better people out there for her. He was just entertaining himself, really. If Quidditch was the only thing that bound them together, well he didn’t mind too much. It wasn’t like it was terrible thing anyway… so long as he got to talk to him every now and again it wasn’t so bad in his eyes. He had never actually been one of those guys that everyone thought he was, he was a little bit sappy and nice when it came to girls. Most of the time he didn’t even sleep around, he was more of a dater if anything. He liked to take girls out on dates and make them feel a little more worth it than they thought they were. He didn’t bring many people to his bed, as much as Woody or Evander did, back in the day. He was the tame one out of the three, but rumours spread more like wild fire than a chaste ripple in a pond
Ordering another drink, he shook his head, “Ha, no. Only old men and shady characters end up at the Hogs Head, I don’t usually go there for conversation sake, if I did… I don’t think I would be in the right mind.” he blinked looking down at the shot glass in front of him again. He was probably going to need to go through more drinks tonight if he ever thought about surviving a conversation. “Firewhiskey, for now.” he muttered, his non-glass holding hand stowed away in his pocket, rubbing the coins together – not hoping that they would breed – trying to figure her out. “Well if you stopped wearing clothing, that might help.” he jested, prying his eyes away from her as he turned to face the bartender.
“So, I take you’re worried,” he said at once after downing a third shot. His tone had changed from before a little more serious but still. He couldn’t help but express his worry a little bit, though she was the older one.
NOTES; sorry for the suckage and the wait.

I CHOOSE DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR. I'D RATHER DIE ( THEN LIVE DOWN ON MY KNEES )Despite his slightly annoying tendencies with his generic comments, Sky still found Theodore's company both entertaining and relaxing. In times like these ti was nice to have a familiar face by your side, all non-human witches and wizards never knowing were an enemy was going to be lurking. She merely shrugged at Theodore's comment about the snatchers, she knowing it was the bare truth. It was of course a blow to his flirtatious comments, but she would take his attempts to make advancements on her over running into a snatcher any day. She grinned a bit, holding up her glass as to toast to him drinking with the big boys before taking another sip, even though he was without anything. Sky was feeling nice, she wasn't going to let his lack of alcohol get in her way of that. It was the first time she was really relaxed in a while, the mixture of the alcohol and entertaining company a good combination.
Turning forward again Sky smiled a bit to his comments about the hogshead. The more she thought on it the more she realized it was the truth. She had only went there a total of probably five times in her day, she never liking the atmosphere or drunken idiots who thought they could get her into their bed. "You? Wanting conversation rather than a cheap thrill? I'm impressed Theodore," she taunted, her lips purring with her rich english accent, though to most people around they couldn't hear it. It was so easy for Sky to tease Theodore, it was one of her favorite past times. Though he wasn't as pimpin' as the rest of his counterparts, the spread of rumors about the young Gryffindor made it appear to be otherwise, and with his constant attempts at her never gave Sky reason to believe otherwise. Though the rumors of him being more a gentleman then the others made her curious, but not curious enough to see. Ordering their new drinks Sky rolled her eyes at his next comment knowing she walked right into that one. There goes her curiosity about him being more of a gentleman. "If I were to ever walk around without any clothes I would make sure you weren't around" she offered with a cheeky grin, eyes floating over to Theodore for a moment. Sky would never do anything of the sort, but she was sure Theodore would be disappointed if it did happen and he wasn't around to witness it.
His change in tone made Sky become quiet, a more serious topic coming into play. She wasn't sure how to answer Theo at first, her mind racing with possible conversation starters. But all of these possibilities made her look weak, and Sky hated nothing more then appearing weak - to anyone. Though she was sure to explode from all the fear and worry she has about all these new laws, Sky refused to talk to anyone about them because she didn't have anyone close enough in her trust circle to break down those carefully crafted walls. Only Nora, and with her recent status as a snatcher caused their friendship to end abruptly. Her attention was focused down at her drink, the buzz she had was slightly killed at the thought of all this nonsense, she taking another sip of her cup before answering Theodore. "Yeah, I am," she said softly, admitting to her own concerns but not digging any deeper than that for this conversation. Maybe if they were in private she would have opened up more to the fellow Quidditch player, but out in public like this was not the place. "This poor excuse for a Ministry will have to pry my rights and job from my lifeless hands," she said seriously, her stubborn nature making that comment far too true. Sky was not going to go down without a fight, and even though at the moment she felt protected by Hogwarts she knew that wasn't going to last long. She leaned in closer to Theodore, bringing her voice down to a whisper. "I still haven't registered myself. It's going to take one hell of a snatcher to get me there," she told him, eyes fluttering up to his for a moment before she leaned back over to her seat comfortably.
She tipped her head back and took another long sip of her scotch.

please tell that i can have a moment of your time, just one minute. Sky was one of those people that Theo couldn’t keep himself away from. This was not something he would think of in a sexual way; it was more of her general personality. She was just someone that he wanted to get to know better, regardless of his other, slightly egotistical thoughts. Theo was a genuinely nice guy and he really wanted to get to know someone like Sky who was different from him, not only because she was a magical creature. It was because she acted differently from him. That was how he picked his friends actually. Most people picked their friends because of common interests, and of course it was there with the two of them but Theo’s method was more that he would pick people different from him. He wanted to pick up traits from other people to better himself and somehow that was always more effective with people that he wouldn’t normally associated. He supposed that was why he was also so popular as a child.
“I never wanted a cheap thrill from you.” he smirked at her comment, “It was never about the cheap thrill with you.” he said earnestly. If he wanted a cheap thrill he could have picked any women in the pub that swooned at his crooked smile, but instead he sat aside Skyanna who, despite her annoyance, seemed to be more concerned about more than the nightly affairs in the bedroom. Frankly, he was getting bored of all that and with Sky’s presence he was starting to grow bored of it even more. “Well, it would be a pleasant distraction, which is what’s important, even if it isn’t for me.” Theo continued, though he felt a bit annoyed by the fact that she wouldn’t grace him with her nudity – that was his boyish brain though, every other part of him was a bit relieved. He wanted so much to get passed whatever was once there before. It was clear now, since they were older, nothing was going to happen to them other than camaraderie, which was completely fine with, especially with the oncoming storm.
Theo had come to realize over time that there was hardly anything that he could do about the raising developments, he was just a Quidditch player and that was really all he knew for the moment – or at least he joked about it. He really wanted something else to happen, something that was more real, but even that was a little bit silly for the two of them. Theodore just wanted to be feeling important for a moment, leave his mark on the world and actually do something that mattered, perhaps that was why he joined the Order the first place. He wasn’t swayed by anyone but his choice, unlike his brother and many of the other people that took arms. It was scary thought to lose people like in the second coming but this time it was different. It didn’t make it any lese real, it was just the fact that this was it and this was all they had. Theo hardly believed that people would standby for very long, especially since this would affect everyone.
“If I was in your place, I would be worrying… it is a normal response.” Theo tried not to hiss out his words, as much as he wanted to. “He doesn’t exactly need an excuse Sky…” he looked over to her, glancing at her frame rather than her face. He couldn’t bring himself to do so. He knew how stubborn she was and how she wasn’t going to let anyone take her from her position, but there was also the fact that it seemed like a hopeless sort of war right now. “Fierce, aren’t we?” he chuckled out. It was odd how a conversation could just turn with one comment but there it was, he was chuckling at it right now. He hadn’t even noticed the fact that she had looked up at him or even leaned uncomfortably close now since it seemed like such a natural thing to do. “I would expect nothing else from you, or… well… anyone like you.” he gave a notable pause between his words as he looked around. “But… what exactly are you going to do? Hide?” he asked, the questions hanging thick around them in the air.

I CHOOSE DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR. I'D RATHER DIE ( THEN LIVE DOWN ON MY KNEES )In desperate times someone in Sky's position had to pick their allies carefully and cautiously. Go through their every feature and different personalities traits with a fine tooth comb, making sure they could be trusted. Sky would never want to put anyone in any danger that meant something to her, so even though she may trust the people she chose to surround herself with she tried her best to keep them out of this ministry snatcher business, even if they were in the same boat as she. Theodore was a special case to Sky, simply because she has known him for so long and he is younger then she - call it something of a protective nature, but Sky would never forgive herself if something happened to him because of her. Same thing with Alistair or Sully or even Nora, though they weren't on speaking terms currently. But at this very moment if a snatcher was to come into the bar and attempt to take her away she would feel safer with Theodore around. He was a capable wizard, strong and masculine. It was something Sky never really noticed about him before - maybe it was the alcohol thinking for her, but at this moment she felt safe. Like she could actually unwind like she had been trying to for such a long time.
Nights like these were always appreciated.
She grinned a bit at his comments, eyes focusing on the glass of scotch that was in her pale hand. "Hmm. Well aren't I one lucky girl - the famous Quidditch player smitten with me? Oh all the other girls will be so jealous,"he taunted lightly, letting his comments roll of like water on feathers. Sky was use to his advances and comments at this point, though she was sure it was more out of old habit then him actually still swooning over her. Sky didn't think very highly of herself in that area - though she has been graced with a figure and a face (at lest so she has been told) she finds her personality intolerable for anyone. Sky knows her faults and knows her strengths, and she knows that love or relationships were never really in the cards for her. Sky doesn't foresee herself falling in love, rather dying cold and alone. It was a pessimistic view at best yes, but she wouldn't want to put a good man through heartbreak. Despite Theodore being somewhat of a nuisance to Sky if anything ever were to happen between them she was sure that it would just end horridly and then she would be out a friend. She was moody with her condition, uncaring and generally unattached. Untrusting. Theo deserved better, as did everyone else.
Speaking of the laws made Sky almost long for his cheap one liners and comments. It was always a sour subject and one that was a bit of a buzz kill, but tonight was a night of relaxing. She never actually talked about her plans or what she was going to do with the snatchers when they do come. She sighed a bit, looking to Theo. "I know, thats the screwed up part. I just .. don't understand. I'm not a monster, am I?" she asked him seriously, shaking her head a bit as if she didn't want him to answer. The comment was definitely a product of the alcohol, but even sober it was something that always picked at her brain. All these ideals getting crammed down her throat all the time was making her almost believe she was a threat, a danger to not only herself but her students and fellow faculty members. Still, Sky had gone through so many hardships because of what she was, people never see her as a woman but as a werewolf. A liability. A threat. She smiled at Theo's comments, only nodding in agreement. "You should know more then anyone how Fierce I can be," she grinned a bit, knowing she had scolded him a few times back in their days at Hogwarts. It was nice to have someone who appreciated her for who she was, and Theo was that person.
She cleared her throat, adjusting her position on her chair before answering. "I honestly don't know what I am going to do," she told him with a slight shrug. "I considered resigning. But I worked too hard to get to where I am - call it selfish, but if everyone goes down without a fight we are just making the minister's job easier. Besides, I'm not the one to let people push me around. My father couldn't, I'd be damned if that bloody git can get the better of me," she said, her words getting a bit more intense as she took another sip of her drink. She was almost finished with her scotch, Sky decided that one more glass will be enough for her. She was already speaking out of context, comments of her family something she never said. "On the other hand fighting will just give him more fuel to the fire. It's a loose loose situation, but Hogwarts is the safest place for me right now, they can't touch me. But I'm sure that will end soon, and when it does I'll just have to run I guess," she shrugged a bit, her voice more soft spoken then usual.
She laughed a bit, trying to lighten up the mood a bit. "Sorry, didn't mean to lay all that on you. No need to concern you with my problems," she smiled sweetly at him, finishing off her glass and ordering her last drink. "How's Quidditch going? I haven't been able to watch the games but I hear the kestrels are doing pretty well," she questioned.
