nora isn't one that has a whole lot of friends to her name. for obvious reasons, one being that she is a little sick-minded and two, completely oblivious to social normalities. not the best combination in the world. if you attempt to talk to her, you can count on a very er... interesting and slightly frightening conversation. however, if you can stick around long enough and deal with her weirdness, nora can be a very reliable and loyal friend. it's just getting there that's the hard part.
enemies would be rather abundant, between those who are put off by her personality to people who don't support delacroix or snatchers. she doesn't have a filter that blocks her words either, so nora can be quite blunt with criticism and her opinions. i'm thinking there will be no shortage of people on her bad side. mutual dislikes, one sided, frenemies... pretty much anything works.
love is about the last thing on her mind, but some romance might be nice to play out. relationships just don't work out for her very well, and it's not like she's the classic sort of beauty that people flock to, but i'd like for her to have some past lovers or current interest. she's about the opposite of flirty and oblivious to most advances, but that could change depending on the person. rather open, just let me know.

So when I first read a little bit about Nora I saw her and Sky as actually being friends. They are kind of similar with their blunt behavior, and the two both were Ravenclaws. They probably know each other from school because they aren't far apart in age (Sky is 25). Sky would have accepted her for being so .. strange, even if it did make her feel uneasy or uncomfortable. Sky loves that quality in a person, and she wouldn't of hesitated to tell Nora when she was being a complete creep. However Sky is a werewolf, and I'm not sure if Nora is a snatcher for werewolves or what but Sky would immediately cut ties with her because of it. So I was thinking good friends turned enemies? Sky would be pretty upset about her being a snatcher, thus end their friendship even if Nora still wanted to continue it. Sky is having a tough enough time as it is right now with all the new laws, she wouldn't want snatchers involved in her life.

giry .okay, so giry went to school with nora. he's two years older than her and was in hufflepuff. his best friend was in ravenclaw, so i think they probably would have interacted a bit here and there. honestly, giry is a lazy bum. he probably would have been all laidback and such if they crossed paths. he's not a dick, but he does have a bad attitude. i don't know. for some reason, i feel like they'd get along. like, she'd probably find it amusing that he was such a sick fuck. that's just how giry is. so, i can totally see him going for drinks with her or something to catch up or whatever if they ran into each other. joel .lkfjkecmwkewem these two need to be friends. two insane motherfuckers in one place? yes please! so, joel is my american wizard who has quite a past and is a serial killer. though no one is aware of this. he is a sociopath with an innate need to kill. he's addicted to killing people and has devoted his life to killing those with "dirty blood." meaning he kills muggles, mudbloods, some halfblood, blood traitors, etc. on the outside, he's this nice approachable guy who is polite to all with an ever present smile. on the inside, he is calculating every action and feeling to make it seem like he is an average magical human being when the reality is that he's not. he is also a snatcher, though he is the head accipiter snatcher, but i think they'd know each other. because snatchers have to stick together. he wants to make a name for himself in the ministry. currently he is an ambassador from the united states and he plans on working his way up into the minister's favor. it is a good cover for a serial killer, no? xD anyways, i think these two would get along really well actually. so i am shooting for friends. because i think he'd understand her and accept her. and perhaps he might drop a few hints to her about his true persona. and with nora being intelligent, she might just pick up on them. i would also suggest reading joel's app just to get a feel for how he is. add or subtract what you will!

since a lot of my characters are in school, i'll just toss up my two adults for you c:
EVANDER didn't know her in school, but has heard of her / seen her and thinks she's rather creepy. other than that, nuffin :c ARCHER would work closely with her, being that he's in muggle control, but i think there'd be some private distaste for her. however, i think archie's flexible enough to accept she does a good job with her snatching, so.. acquaintances? co-workers?

Just the fact that Sky would be able to put up with her weirdness is a good start, haha. They are similar in a lot of ways, but with just enough difference that they would be able to get along well. Friends definitely sounds good, keeping in touch after graduation. I really like the idea of them turned enemies, though. Nora is a cruor/vampire snatcher, so that wouldn't directly involve Sky, but just the principle of it all with magical creatures and the new laws. Sky obviously wouldn't support that. Once that whole ordeal was exposed then it would be pretty much downhill. I like it! Thanks for plotting.

Nora isn't very sensitive so his bad attitude wouldn't bother her much at all, and she would probably find him amusing at times. The mutual friend in Ravenclaw would probably be how they met, and I don't know if they would be extremely close but would probably catch up if given the chance. I feel like I don't have much to add to this, sorry. /: But I agree with everything you said.

I really like Joel's background and the fact that they are both snatchers would definitely give them some solid ground to build a sort of friendship on. Even if they are in separate groups, I have a feeling they would cross paths quite a bit and that sort of thing. He would probably peak her interest just because he's from America and that's something different to Nora. There would acceptance and understanding both sides, so a sort of sick but wonderful friendship. However Nora does have a muggle mother who lives in Bulgaria, they are estranged, but that could possibly be an interesting twist in the future. Anyways... many people under estimate her intelligence just because of how off-handed her comments can be, but if he were to drop a few hints, Nora's very observant and could start piecing things together. Loving this plot already! Thanks.

giry .giry's best friend's name had been sedrig krause, the elder brother of selma krause. sedrig was this neurotic and kind of pushover ravenclaw when he had been in school. he tried to be friends with everyone and was picked on a lot. whereas giry was like his shield and took no shit from anyone. he probably was the one who introduced them to each other. sedrig passed away and giry suffers from survivor's guilt. erm, before he was the caretaker of hogwarts, him and sed had been hit wizards. though not many people are aware of this. he's actually the secret guardian of selma, and communicates with her via owl under the alias of 'angel.' she's the reason why he is even working at hogwarts because before sed died, he asked giry to take an unbreakable vow to watch over selma if anything happened to him. so, yeah. that's just a little background about giry. i don't think they'd be particularly close, but i do see these two as friends. so a sort of humorous friendship or acquantanceship sounds about right. joel .i know, right? xD these two together in one place just screams epic trouble and awesomeness! yeah, they would cross paths pretty often while hunting the outlaws down. a sick but wonderful friendship is exactly what i was thinking. great minds think alike. ;) i don't think that giry would have a problem with nora for being a halfblood. he only ever goes out to kill halfbloods when he is assigned to do so or if he feels that they need to be off'd. though if nora asked him to, he'd probably go and kill her mother. however, she'd have to give him the okay. because if they are going to be friends, he'll take precautions for his own benefit. if that makes sense. oh my god, something tells me this plot is going to be a beast! lol

well ophelia is just a tiny bit older than nora here. twenty six and all. makes her a little hard to plot with all these young 'uns. well any ways, she would have been in school when nora was. they probably wouldn't have seen much of each other, but ophelia is what you could describe as your star pupil - on the quidditch team, hard-working and diligent. ended up working in the tearoom full time though, as opposed to taking a ministry job. she just really likes food, ok. i'm thinking that nora could maybe frequent madame puddifoots'? as the manager, ophelia would notice her after a while, you know, attempt to strike up some small talk while getting her the usual. of course, nora would probably be like /starestarestare, what? and it would be rather awkward for both parties, but moreso ophelia because she'd be unused to it. i think she'd just keep trying any ways, and try not to get overly freaked out by what she was saying. i wouldn't say friends, as per say, but they'd probably communicate enough to be acquaintances.

ATHEA and NORA should be friends because Athea works at the ministry under the Minister and she would find Nora so fascinating. She wouldn't really care very much that she is halfblood or that she is really strange. God, I don't know but I can just imagine these two killing someone and just relishing in it. Did I mention that Athea is an assassin by trade? That is why she works for the Minister. xD I don' know, I'm just writing filler here. I don't actually have an amazing plot, I just kind of want them to be friends even though Athea is 24 and was a Slytherin.
