TED REMUS LUPIN

Witty and quick, his mouth tends to get him into all kinds of trouble. Ted is a self-made loner, cutting himself off from most people by plain instinct. Ted has had trust issues all of his life and holds most people at arms-length. It takes a lot for him to let someone into his life, despite the fact that Ted had a well off childhood, always being surrounded by friends and what family he has left. Despite his solo mindset though, he does feel the need to help people, especially women. He is extremely chivalrous, almost to the point of chauvinism. He tends to get in over his head when a girl gets in trouble. Ted is a smart-ass to a great many people. He never really knows when to tun it off, and it always comes back to bite him in the ass. Not that he can't handle trouble when it comes around.

To say that Ted is quiet is an understatement though. He generally keeps to himself despite his mouth, only piping up when he feels the need to or when he's spoken to. He travels alone, a choice he doesn't think about too often. He keeps himself busy when he isn't working, keeping his body in shape and tinkering away at his rusty, ramshackle motorcycle. He has dabbled in a little of everything martial arts-wise, but he has a knack for Akido. Ted never excelled all to much at Hogwarts, but he still has a healthy thirst for knowledge and he has the attitude that if there is something he needs to know and doesn't know it, he will find it out.

Ted, at heart, is a gentleman. He hates it when anybody gets hurt or is in trouble, but when it's a woman, watch out. His chivalry makes him vulnerable to be manipulated by the opposite sex. Which is to say that he can be a little blindsided by a pretty face, but hey, he's only human.

I mean...Ted's not against it as a rule, but he sees it as a very unlikely possibility. He's really only had one significant other in his life, and it didn't end too well...Not to mention that he has some pretty extreme trust issues. But, but, BUT. If you think you can handle his wise-ass-ness, his broody loner bull-shit, he would actually be a pretty good significant other.At first he might be a little bit of a gamble, but if you put in the time, he turns out to be one hell of an investment .

Friends:

Friendship is built on trust, which Ted is lacking in. Much like the Lover, you would need to put in the time and effort. Other than that, the quickest way is to meet him while he's in a bind (which happens almost constantly), because then he wont have a choice xD. At his core, he's a soldier and the best way to earn his trust-and respect- is to fight along side him.

Yeah, about that.

Ted is a colosall pain in the ass, and that's just to his superiours. He is a certified auror of the Ministry, and a pretty darn good one at that. He is bound to have made an enemy or two (or five) along his carrer, both civilian and military.

SOSOSOSO i think james and ted were definitely super close growing up and they should still be fairly close to each other now c: i have it written in james's app that ted's the one who introduced him to almost everything, so i think james would look up to teddy as sort of an older brother figure. atlas probably would know ted from atlas wanting to go into the ministry and therefore knowing a lot of people (if only by name) from there. however, i definitely think they wouldn't have gotten along, and enemy plots are always fun ~ nik knows no one :c evander would have been in the same year as teddy, so obviously they would've known each other. i imagine they'd be friends but nothing too special. maybe occasional bar buddies? archer is in the ministry as well, but i don't think they'd get along at all, mostly 'cause archer is one of the ministry's lapdogs.

I was actually planning on posting in your plotter today! xD Yes, these two were partners in crime as kids ^_^, but Ted has changed a lot in his age and I can see him disapprove of James's lifestyle if he ever hears of it. So definitely an older brother figure!

Archer & Ted:
Ted would definitely not like Archer. His brown-noseing and job description would irritate him an their personalities don't mesh in the least. Inter Office political non-niceness will ensue (:

Ted may or may not be using his status an auor to keep tabs on this little Lestrange >.> So, yeah not getting along. Like ever xD

So...Yes! She would also be one of the few people that still call him Teddy (which he will just love haha). Actually, probably the whole Potter/Weasley family would. But yeah. Like a sister? Other than that I can't think of anything else.

They obviously have a very close relationship since he's practically her cousin... they were good friends throughout her childhood, and I could see them (potentially) becoming more.

Okay, man these suck. KATNISS, well I think that Katniss and Teddy would be a little bit off. She would know of him because she is Victoire’s best friend for some odd reason and James trolls her to no tomorrow… I think that she wouldn’t really mind Ted too much. She would just be weary of him because she tends to drift towards broken people. She is really rude, uncouth, and sarcastic and has an all-round bad attitude and terrible outlook on life. She would not deal with his bullshit well, because she bullshits too. I would be amused if they bet/dare each other for things… because that is the only way to get her to do anything. THEODORE, uhh… Theo is the same age as Ted, same house too… so I think they would know each other. Theo is a philosopher for some odd reason and he spouts craziness and random quotes when needed. I think that if Ted ever needed to talk about anything Theo would be there for him… if he needed a brotalk and drinks. ATHEA, she is the junior assistant to the Minister and pretty much the attack dog. She is super innocent looking but she will kill on command. I don’t think that Ted would like her very much, though she can be kind and genuinely sweet if not tasked to do anything. ANTIGONE, she is three years younger than him and was in Gryffindor. She is a ginger and pretty much is made of awesome. She is good for dealing with bullshit and wise-assery, and she would probably feed it back to him. I think that she would genuinely enjoy his company even if he was a broody ass half the time. She’d poke him a lot… OTTAVIA, she’s nice?

Yeah...Ted would not like her. Like. At all. She would know him from his rather loud reputation (in which he tells his superiors how he feels about things, regardless of how it sounds).

Rose grew up with him because she practically spent her entire life at the Potter's house growing up, so they're fairly good friends. They've got a brother/sister-ly relationship, fersure. Persephone would probably find him attractive and intriguing, but they really wouldn't ever socialize (except now they would, because he's coming to Hogwarts and she's head girl). Mica would think this guy was the coolest thing in the world. Maksim went to school with him, and I'd say they were pretty good friends. And Alistair Blair is just obsessed with him because he was in Gryffindor.

THEODORE, well Theo only supplies photos for the Daily Prophet so I don't think he will be very much help. He is a quidditch player by trade. A good friendship though. ATHEA, and that is okay because she doesn't mind. ANTIGONE, Definitely. I think she would be very friendly with Ted, so yeah, coffee or drinks would be awesome, if you want to start a thread or owl... I will welcome it?

So these two are so obnoxiously similar it's not even funny. xD If sky was a guy, she would be ted ;P ANYWHO. I can see a definite friendship at the very lest forming between the two. He's smart, and like Sky has a never ending thirst for knowledge. Sky will respect that and constantly be picking his brain for good conversation (I get the feeling she'll get good conversation from him, that is something very important to her). She'll definitely be able to handle his wise-assery, she pretty talented in the area herself. As far as his loner status goes Sky is the same way, but I feel like even though they prefer being alone they won't mind being alone together xD if that makes sense? I do see them bickering a bit though, just because of how Ted is with women. Sky is really independent, she won't want to accept help from him at all in any way shape or form. But, if they do get close enough Sky will love the gentlemen side of him, Sky personally feeling like there really aren't any left in the world. As far as them becoming more then friends I think it is a definite possibility, but it'll take some time. Sky has some pretty hefty trust issues as well, and at the moment love is the last thing on her mind with all the new laws. I don't know if her being a werewolf would play into their relationship at all but it could. c:
