asfghjkl idk. ruby is probably one of the loudest, most obnoxious people you'd ever meet at hogwarts. but also one of the nicest and rather headstrong, blunt girls. she's a sixth year gryffindor, idk how they'd meet but ruby kind of tends to make herself known to everyone so they'd probably run into one another at some point. i have zero clue if ethan would actually like her. ruby would probably think he seemed cool but then she'd definitely judge him if she knew he used to be an elitist. i think they could potentially be friends? maybe? idk.

selma,
seventh year ravenclaw, probably the sweetest and most caring girls but a bit naive. i think should probably would remember him from a few years back, or if she did she'd turn a blind eye and simply see that he was now a nice guy. she'd be up for chatting with him in the corridors, saying hi every so often, mostly just a happy tolerance, perhaps friends if ethan was always nice and cordial like he seems to be.

paris,
seventh year slytherin and loool paris would just cling on to him like there's no tomorrow and probably bug the hell out of him. she's kinda like my little rita skeeter, always wanting the juicy details. she thrives off of other people's secrets and gossip and drama, so she'd try and get ethan to do something absolutely wicked especially like he used to in his first few years.

also a seventh year slytherin, he's not elitist but he has plenty of elitist friends. i'm thinking perhaps they used to be friends before ethan matured and then they kind of broke apart slowly, and now they're on not so good terms? mer doesn't appreciate disloyalty, so the fact that ethan would've changed so much on him would just disgust him.

seventh year hufflepuff, omg friends but seriously i think they'd get along quite well. blaise gets along pretty easily with most people, he's easy going, responsible, etc. he'd probably have ethan's back and have a lot of sympathy for his arranged marriage because blaise would probably be like lol what, but why... that sucks dude. idk thats all i've got xD

rubyðan; haha I'm sure he wouldn't mind her at all. She seems interesting and I doubt he'd pass up the opportunity to have fun. I dunno how she'd act if they were enemies turned friends? or even just acquaintances. XD some sort of fun day-by-day friendship ? xD *throws ideas like confetti*

selmaðan; XD sounds fun. Maybe she could be one of the few people that made him sit down and study sometimes? XD He'd probably really like her if she's one that looked past his childhood meanness. And maybe for that he's sort of is protective of her?

parisðan hahaha that'd be a lot of fun. :D I'm sure every now and again she may get his temper, which would make her even happier because when he's angry he reverts to the way he was . XD which would make him angrier, but as long as they were in the shallows- I'm sure he'd tolerate her, and be nice, because he hates how he gets so angry, and would practice his patience around paris.(:

mercutioðan; Ethan just isn't outwardly mean anymore, but I think this is really good because Ethan would hate that he alienated an old friend. and probably try and make amends and convince mercutio that he didn't betray him or anything, but we'll see how it goes XD

blaiseðan; that'd actually help him, cos most of his friends don't really see what's wrong with a good "pure" arranged marriage, so a good friend out of a circle would probably mean a lot to him. (:

here are my characters.

scorpy is a chill sort of guy, so i think he'd get along with ethan now that he's less purist and all. but i think before they definitely would have clashed because scorpy isn't a hardcore elitist and stuff xD so either they could have had a huge fight that made them enemies forever, or what i said above with a forgive and forget sort of thing. whateverrr you want. and scarlett would probably know of him if he's from a purebloodish family, but probably wouldn't have any direct connection with him.
