But he's such a passionate guy, that the right girl could probably use him like there's no tomorrow. He respects girls, even when they don't respect themselves. he's overprotective, jealous, and hard to crack- so he's sort of a challenge to open up and get with. KATNISS is my sociopath little girl that is a little bit unhinged and really, really, really sarcastically mean because she can be, but mostly because of her family life. She is really unable to make very deep relationships with people with trying very hard to maintain relationships with people. That being said, I feel like she might actually want to be friends with Devent. She is closed off to people normally because she really can give a damn about caring about people because it will only cause her pain in the end. I don't think that Katniss would be very sympathetic towards Dev when his sister died, but she can relate to him at least a little bit when it comes to people dying that you were close to. If they were friends or came to be friends in first year, she would probably try to coax him out of his shell and try distract him for a while... Oh she is also impossibly affection to people that she is close to. >>;;

OTTAVIA is a giant sweetie pie bit she tends to stutter and get really flustered around attractive men. She is impossibly adorable though and would probably skip up to him if he was glum and give him a hug... and a cupcake and try to cheer him up because she tends to adore everyone.

SINEAD is a Hufflepuff and she is also a werewolf. She tends not to float towards humans because she was raised by wolves most of her life. She hardly trusts easily. She is quite lovely though... like a little affectionate puppy. Since they're in the same house I think that she would probably be a bit more friendly towards him but a bit stand offish still.

LYSANDER is also a puff and kind of... crazy? I mean he is a little bit crazy and very... angry for a person but he tends to ACT nicely towards people until they piss him off. I dunno, maybe they could be friends.

NIK probably is neither here nor there with dev. a name means nothing to him, and so he'd probably relate to being sort of ~shy. actually, in that regard, these two are a bit alike .__. nik would love having a writing friend, since he wants to write his own series of horror novels in the future~

CALLUM would probably act like he's best friends with dev, even if on the inside he's not particularly fond of him. he might relate to sort of holding up a mask for the rest of the world though? callum's a character, so i onno xD

so i read this and you seem to want drama. well, i'm good at drama. at least...i'd like to think so lol but anyways. this is cordelia wood. she's a quidditch nazi ( like her brother and cousin and parents ) and is basically a sweetheart that is a very good listener and understanding. she'll talk to anyone that seems nice, even first years. crazy right? she isn't one for homework or school in general since she wants to become a professional quidditch player. but she's not some pushover either. she's got a sarcastic, pessimistic side. she knows how to defend herself against the mean slytherins. lol

so here's what i'm proposing. so devent is attraction. he's also a hufflepuff and a year older. cordelia would have the hugest crush on him, but since devent is guarded and stuff, he probably wouldn't be wanting a relationship. unless he does, then...it's up to you lol so then cordelia would be making up all this stuff in her head and overanalyze everything and be like, omg he did so and so. he total likes me. lmao and once that progresses with devent either being annoyed by it or thinking it was cute, it could go either way: him telling her that they'd only be friends or relationship road. which of course is up to you since i didn't actually read his application. i'm just assuming....and when i assume, i don't always get things right.

But I think because they sort of would understand eachother, it would work between them? I can see these two sort of becoming friends during first year etc, and then maybe falling out after their sixth year? Like leading up these two were really close, but as soon as his sister died, Devvy pulled away from his friendship and sort of slowly put this barrier between them. His sister is his triplet, so James maybe even knew, but Devent just sort of lost himself when it happened and totally felt like a new person. sort of closed off and cold and absolutely despised the looks he was getting. the sort of " :/ " that face. XD and that's why they are sort of awkward friends now? Maybe they can begin to patch back up their friendship?

I don't think that carson would be insensitive to say so to devent's face ever about his dislike of his uncle outloud, but times are changing and well carson probably will at some point ask him what he thought of his uncles politics and sort of judge from that statement if he could trust him anymore or not. displace whatever they have if he's for or against his uncle. (he performs experiments on the first-third year ones, nbd). but uhm the main thing i can think of here is that jacoby is somewhat rather very extremely utterly possessive of his girls. while he'd never go so far as to actually date one he's out to protect them to no end. so if he saw samantha was "lowering herself" to him then he'd be like, right, and give the kid a few black eyes or casual hexes, and i think they could have a fun physical rivalry and wrestle and duel and throw each other in front of trains and have a generally merry time of it.
