nothing compares to the quiet evenings alone, just the one-two, that much we're counting right. That never happens, I guess im dreaming again. Lets be more than this. If you want to play it like a game, then come on, come on lets play. - - - *
If someone had told Sky ten years ago that she would be sitting with Sully wade in his back office, speaking of the good old days and drinking up each others company she would have called you a liar. Then again, if someone told her ten years ago that she would be fearful for her own safety because of a new minister who was incorporating laws against magical creatures she would have also called you a liar. It was strange how things worked out, majority of Sky's life having nothing but bad luck and just a series of rather unfortunate events, whether it be with family or with herself as a person. But for once things seemed to be going in her favor. It was a nice change of pace from the normal bad hand she always got dealt. Running into Sully was a pleasant surprise that though unexpected was more then welcomed in her mind. Not just because he was nice to look at even though she could stare at that smile for hours but because he reminded her of better days. When things in the world weren't so complicated and her only worries were really her school work, avoiding the Slytherins at all costs and figuring out if she should tell her crush how she felt.
She couldn't help but grin at his comments on Kat, she almost telling him how dead on he was. She didn't want to tell him exactly, but beating around the bush might have given him the wrong idea. Poor Katniss, she would have Sky to blame if Sully thought she murdered someone in the three broomsticks in her younger years. Not to mention letting Sully believe he was employing a murderer would have just been unethical. "Ha, what an active imagination. I don't want to ruin the surprise. Or any view you have on Katniss" she spoke, that small grin never leaving her face. "But I can at lest let you know she didn't murder someone. So sleep easy tonight knowing you aren't employing a natural born killer," she said with devilish look, her humor something that not many people appreciated. But Sully always seemed to back in school, she was sure that hasn't changed.
His joking was light hearted and appreciated, Sky giving a small laugh at his comments. They may have been a bit on the lame side but they were still amusing to her enough to let out a small laugh and smile in his direction. She generally had a taste for a different type of humor, but she also appreciated things that were different from the normal. Speaking with Sully was like a breath of fresh air, a welcome variable in her life of constants. "I am actually, how did you know?" she asked, looking at him somewhat seriously. "I actually know what your future holds - a wonderful wife and eight children" she said, her expression serious as she delivered her own dry sense of humor onto Sully's lap. She looked away for a moment, letting out a small laugh as she broke her facade, her attention not on Sully for a second. She didn't bother addressing the fact that she was only joking with him, but instead continued on with her statement of his apparent future. "I think 8 children will keep you fit enough, hmm? that is a lot of ... thrusting," she said through short laughs, her attention looking back to him as she tilted her head to the side a bit like she was curious. Sky's sense of humor was .. different, but there was some truth behind what she said. She doubted Sully wouldn't be married in ten years. Sky, on the other hand has accepted the fact that she will probably never be married.
Moments that make you feel alive are ones that Sky didn't experience often. With each of Sully's movements it was like the world was moving in slow motion - she had a hard time believing that things were actually heading in this direction. Seriously, was this happening? Sky has heard of people longing to have a snog session or a one night stand with their crushes from Hogwarts, but she never was one of those people. However right now she felt like all of her Hogwarts dreams were coming true, at lest romantically. It was an awkward sense of victory for Sky, she never thinking that anyone such as sully would ever have any form of .. lustful or romantic interest in her. Sure she has grown a bit since they were in school and age was no longer an issue, but she would have never thought. It was also unexpected, Sky loving every second of it. She loved things she couldn't predict and she loved when people did things she wasn't expecting. That was a hard task to complete, but Sully had her completely knocked off her feet. In all honesty it was a little bit of a boost to her ego.
She flushed even more when he responded to her comments, glad that her company was at lest one of pleasurable content. He scooted closer to her, Sky's eyes wondering to their hips as they touched, they fluttering back up to Sully when she felt his hand against her cheek. She knew that he saw her blush, and even if he didn't he would have been aware of it now, her face warm with the feelings of uncertainty. Sky didn't get her hopes up, which Made Sully's kiss even more enjoyable. She shut her eyes, letting her lips linger on his for a few moments before pulling away. She didn't pull too far away though, her lips still hanging only a mere inch, if that, from his. She smoothly scooted a bit closer to him (which was a difficult task, considering they were already so close), she looking up to his eyes. "Well .. its good to see you too, Sully" she said her voice barely a dull roar as her words breathed onto his features, she kissing him again, except with a bit more eagerness then the kiss that Sully had previously graced Sky with.
At this moment, if Sky was looking in on her life she would have called her a tramp. At the moment she had been sharing her bed with Alistair Blair, just as Alistair had been sharing his bed with her. But her relationship with Alistair was much different then anything that she could have hoped for with Sully. With Alistair it was just sex. They could barely tolerate each other aside from in the bedroom, their first time sleeping together taking place after a drinking game. With Sully it was .. innocent. At lest for the moment. She was sober, she generally enjoyed Sully's company and he was more of a man then Alistair was. At lest in her opinion, but that was based in opinion. She wasn't sure what she was expecting to come of this, but she felt no guilt and she felt no remorse for returning his kiss with a bit more umph. Sky knew that she and Alistair was nothing more then a fling, and they weren't tied down to each other. She would sooner chop off her own arm then do such things with Alistair. Her thoughts no longer rested on Alistair, Sky pushing him out of her mind with ease, she now back in the moment with Sully. Her hand reached across the small space the occupied, resting on his lowerabs stomach area, she only puling back when she figured they required air.
She blushed even more, turning her face from him as her face was pulled away from his hands - not because she didn't enjoy what just happened, but more or less because it was so unexpected. She tucked her hair behind her ear, smiling a bit at the actions that just took place. Sky looked back to him, biting her lip with longing to kiss him again, just because it was oh so nice. "Sorry," she said at first before speaking again shortly after. "I would have to say that pleasant kissing is sometimes better then pleasant conversation. Especially when so unexpected," she said softly, a small grin on her face as she did so. She hope her comments weren't too .. risque.
