IT'S GONNA SLOW DOWN MY MOTION SO( MY MIND IS PARALYZED BY EMOTION )"I'll see you lot here at 7. Please don't make us all wait for your sorry are, I will give you a detention."
Standing in the center of Hogsmeade, Sky stood with one hand on her hip as she addressed her students, they looking at her like a bunch of deer in the headlights while she spoke. She gave a slightly annoyed glance to them all as she used both her hands and made a 'shew' motion to gesture that they were all free to leave and go about their business. As they turned and walked away Sky let out a small sigh, rubbing her forehead a bit from the headache that was creeping up on her slowly. Listening to them start to talk to each other, she watched the students break off into their little cliques or into couples, some walking hand in hand and others walking with just a group of friends. It was amazing how predictable youth was, Sky thinking back to her days at school - was she that predictable too? Not wasting another moment where she stood, Sky turned her back once the students were out of sight and started to walk off in the opposite direction.
One of Sky's biggest responsibilities at Hogwarts was being one of the only professors that volunteered to watch over the kids at Hogsmeade. It was a job that she didn't take very lightly, but it was an easy one. However with the changing times this was probably going to be the last weekend trip that Sky was going to be spending in Hogsmeade. With this new camps set up right around at the edge of the village Sky was at more risk here then she use to be. Hogsmeade use to be the only place that Sky could feel somewhat relaxed aside from Hogwarts, but that was stripped from her the moment those camps were put up. Sky, still having yet to head to the ministry and register herself knew she was at a constant risk. This simple fact was the reason she never left the castle, or tried not to for the most part. So she hopped on the chance of getting out with the students on weekends, but that was slowly coming to an end. The only plus side to this was the extra time that Sky will be able to spend with the Ravenclaw quidditch team. She normally attended a lot of the practices, but with these trips she was missing almost all of them.
Mind drifting off to distant memories of her glory days as a seeker for the Ravenclaw Qudditch team, Sky headed to the three broomsticks for a nice big glass of butterbeer. It had been a while since she had been to the shop, Sky never exactly a frequent visitor. Even back in school she never visited often, she being more partial to loitering around Honeydukes instead of anywhere else. But it was cold and the Three Broomsticks was always generally warm, she walking with a sense of urgency toward the door. Not to mention they always had the best glass of butterbeer around.
Once inside Sky pealed off her coat to reveal her attire, a long black sleeve v-neck shirt with a pair of jeans and red boots. Being out of her work uniform was always a nice change, Sky never being one to dress up super fancy unless it was for work. She did leave on her white scarf, it wrapped loosely around her neck as her brown hair fell far past her shoulders, Sky taking in the large room. It looked just how she remembered, smelled just how she remembered and was literally unchanged since she had last been there. A rush of memories flooded her mind, Sky grinning a bit as he bright blue orbs fell upon one of the workers. Her eyes caught his for a moment, she instantly turning away. Scully?! Sky's face turned a shade of bright red immediately, she making her way to a table in the back, hoping he didn't see her. She eyes him one more time on her trip over, seeing that he looked just how she remembered. Tall, blond, and drop dead sexy. Only now he sported what looked like a beard, which she had to admit she liked. Back in school Skyanna had the biggest brush on Sullivan, but after graduation the young werewolf never spoke to him again. They were friendly enough back in school, but their age difference called for their friendship to be .. limited. Sky never pursued her feelings for him, but the moment she spotted him it was like that little school girl crush came back. Sitting with her back to the wall at the table she was sitting at, Sky buried her face in her hands for a moment in attempts to calm her red complexion. Relax. He probably didn't see you. she told herself, wiping her face off with her hands as she let them fall to her lap, she ordering a butterbeer before letting her attention fixate on the many faces on the room.

Being the manager at The Three Broomsticks was a bit more work than Sully thought it'd be. In all honesty, Sully thought it would be much easier since he'd been working at the Ministry for such a long time and thought that was laboring work. The Three Broomsticks on the other hand had to deal with people and keeping things in order and then there was the Hogwarts visits. Adults at least were polite and knew their place when getting into difficult situations ( at least most of the civilized adults were like this ) but the students on the other hand were darn right obnoxious. They were loud talkers, a bit rude when there wasn't enough space and Sully dreaded the event after experiencing the rush for the first time. Granted the student visits have gotten better since Sully knows what is going to happen, but Sully always had a surprise given to him at least once per visit. Last time someone started a butterbeer fight over some breakup and Sully was not a happy man.
This year Sully was prepared. He scheduled almost all of his employees to work that day so he could have them keep an eye out for any mischief being started. There were only about three tables per server and gave them all a pep talk before hand about paying them a little extra for their patience and willingness to work so much. Bribe anyone with extra pay and they'll do anything. Sully knew he'd get yelled at for doing so, but in the end, Sully would be bringing peace to the timeless shoppe. Just as Sully predicted, the students stormed in through the doors like animals. Well, the third and fourth years seemed to do so. Sighing, Sully helped out the bartenders with making the drinks while simultaneously managing everybody. It was a stressful first hour, but Sully calmed down once everybody was seated and happy with their drinks. It seemed after the first hour that the place calmed down and the students must've decided to go elsewhere like Honeydukes or Zonkos.
It was a weird feeling of nostalgia as Sully worked here at The Three Broomsticks that he visited so many times with his friends when he was attending Hogwarts. Often when he wasn't working ( which was almost never ), Sully would walk around to revisit his past and all the great times he had. He wondered where most of his friends were now. He knew that his best friend was off in America teaching, but otherwise, Sully hadn't the slightest clue. He didn't work with anybody his age that he really knew, so Sully started over, but all that starting over process was now wasted. The people were nice here though, which Sully liked. He couldn't see himself quitting anytime soon, unless the minister decided to resign or was assassinated sometime soon, but those were the only reasons.
Sully got to calm down a bit during the downtime that the pub had, and decided to start on his scheduling again, trying to fit some of his students at Hogwarts into the time they would have available. He hoped he would see them today since they were a joy to see and talk with. Sully couldn't wait to hire his first employee, but he knew that he was still too new to do such a job. Looking to the crowd, he met someone's eyes and cocked his head, perplexed. As the dark haired women turned her head away, Sully stared her down, wondering if it was the same person he thought it was. If he did think it was the person he was thinking of, boy has time done her well. He could very well be wrong since the last time he saw her, she was only fourteen or so. The server took her order as she they came back to fill up a butterbeer, Sully took it from the server. "I got this one. I think table five needs a refill over there." Sully redirected the server. Filling up another butterbeer for himself, Sully made his way over to the table she was sitting at.
Sitting down, Sully sat down in the chair across from her. "Skyanna Pearce. What a lovely surprise to see you after all these years! Sully greeted with a big smile.

nothing compares to the quiet evenings alone, just the one-two, that much we're counting right. That never happens, I guess im dreaming again. Lets be more than this. If you want to play it like a game, then come on, come on lets play. - - - * Sky was trying her very best to keep her mind off of Sully who was hard at work with the rush of students and other young adult wizards that came into the three broomsticks. Sky never realized how busy they were when they first opened, her bright blue eyes looking at the many routy students that were finally free from the clutches of homework and authority. Sky was use to dealing with students, but she generally had them in line at school. Here it was completely different, they had no professors or prefects watching over their every move. They could basically be as unruly as they wanted, within Sully's limits of course. The former Ravenclaw looked around, almost feeling sorry for the man, realizing what he probably had to deal with on a day to day basis. At lest her students almost feared her, here they were the customers therefore always in the right. At lest, that is what she has heard.
Sky watched as her waitress went to grab her a butterbeer, she trying to make sure that Sully still hadn't spotted her. Well, secretly she was checking him out from afar but no one needed to know that. He still looked as ravishing as she remembered back in school. He looked more grown up an slightly different, but all in a good way. She herself had grown a bit since he had last seen her, Sky hoping that would be enough for him not to notice her. She's been told she looks quiet a bit different from some of her old friends from school, whether it be good or bad she never really knew but she felt somewhat disguised within her own skin. Sometimes, not seeing someone for such a long time payed off. But to her dismay se watched as Sully took her butterbeer from the waitress, addressing her to handle something else before completely the order and coming in her direction. The flush of red that she had just managed to get off face came back with a vengeance, Sky looking down and wiping off her shirt with her hand and playing with her hair a bit to make sure she was looking somewhat presentable. But without a mirror it was a difficult task.
His voice was smooth and welcoming, Sky offering him a warm smile when he took a seat across from her, she watching her butterbeer placed on the table. Oh god .. that smile, Sky thought to herself, still red as can be before she actually spoke back to him. "Sully Wade. You look great," she replied, before stumbling over her words. "I mean, age as done you well - not that you're old. How are you?" she fumbled, embarrassed as all hell. Reaching out for her cup she took a nice long slug of her butterbeer before she could spit up anymore word vomit and do more damage. She must have looked like a idiotic school girl, but it was hard for her to not to be. Skyanna Pearce never gets like this - ever. So this was something she had little to no experience in. Finishing her sip she finally spoke again, hoping to get past the awkward greetings she just shot his way. "I didn't know you owned this place. when did you take over?" she asked, leaning forward on the table before glancing around the room. It was busy, but now that he was already here she might as well make the most of it. She definitely wouldn't mind staring at him for a little bit longer. "Have time for a butterbeer or do you need to get back to work ..?" status; c; tags; sully :3 notes; ahaha. oh Sky and all her fangirl-ness xD

It was amazing how people changed after not seeing them for...how many years has it been since Sully graduated? Quickly doing the math, it's been almost ten years since last seeing her. They weren't exactly close friends, but Sully liked to talk to her since she was an intelligent and very nice girl. What she was doing right now made Sully incredibly curious. Was she here visiting from somewhere exotic? Or was Sky living nearby Hogsmeade? If so, Sully would love seeing a familiar face - not exactly familiar since she isn't the same little school girl he remembered back then.
Letting out a chuckle at her stumble, Sully just shook his head. "I'm good more or less. It's been a, uh...interesting year I might say." Sully offered up, thinking back to the hectic year that he went through. He wasn't about to complain since he chose this path to go down instead of being miserable at the Ministry. He watched her take a sip of the butterbeer he brought over and considered taking a sip of his, but decided against it. He wasn't one to take small sips of his drinks and knew that his drink would be done in about four or so sips. He wanted to have an excuse to talk to her and take a break from the busy work at The Three Broomsticks.
"Well it's been fairly recent since starting here." Sully started and paused, playing with his fingers for a brief moment before going on. He didn't really like to talk about the Ministry in public. Especially after he was offered a nice spot here with a decent pay. "I used to work at the Ministry after being hired when I was nineteen. Let's just say that I wasn't about to work for a man that passes such ridiculous laws." Sully explained looking her straight in the eyes. He wasn't ashamed for doing what he did and was not about to been seen as a coward for believing in his values and morals. "But I would love to stay for a butterbeer. I was actually anticipating you to ask me, so I brought this along!" Sully said with a brighter tone and held his cup up. "To reacquainting!" Sully said and held his cup up to toast with her. He couldn't wait to hear all about her. If he didn't have such control over himself, he would be shaking in his seat from all the anticipation.
"So my dear, tell me. What are you doing these days?" Sully jumped right into asking questions about her. He was more curious about her then telling her things about himself.

If you want to play it like a game, then come on, come on lets play. - - - * The Sky was still slightly uncomfortable with her biggest Hogwarts crush sitting in front of her, though the red on her face started to fade slowly as they started to chat for a bit. Hopefully by the end of this she will be a little bit more comfortable around Sully, and not acting like a complete and utter idiot. Thinking to the ten years or so that they have not seen each other, Sky realized that he had no idea of her werewolf status. Sky use to not care who knew about her condition, she always about embracing who you are. But now a days with the ministry herding them off to camps like sheep Sky had to be careful. Only trusted people know of the pain she experienced on the fullmoon, Sky not letting any person who could pose a potential threat to her be graced with the knowledge. She chose not to speak to Sully about it, at lest not yet, she unaware of is position on the matter. Or if it affected him at all. She grinned a bit before speaking. "I can imagine, it's been hectic for me as well," she assured him, unknowing of what was happening in his life, but with new laws and the minister it was hectic for everyone.
Sky saw the topic of his place of employment was uncomfortable. Sh was curious, only listening with eager ears as he spoke of his old job at the ministry. That explains a lot - many people are uncomfortable speaking about such things out in public. She couldn't blame him. While normally Sky would take advantage of such weakness to make him feel more uncomfortable she chose not to - that subject matter was far too tender to make mockery of. Recalling hearing that he worked in the ministry, Sky was pleased to hear the he too was against the minister. It was always nice to find someone who wasn't directly affected by the laws to still support those who were. Crossing her ankles under the table she looked down to her mug, her fingers laced around them carefully before she spoke again. "Ah yes, the minister. I applaud you for standing up for your morals, it's a tough task now a days," she commended him, giving a small nod and smile of approval. "Means a lot to people who are directly affected by the laws like myself," she hinted, her voice dropping down a bit so eager ears wouldn't hear the conversation. With the camps directly outside hogsmeade workers and snatchers were probably starting to invade Hogsmeade looking for unregistered werewolves like Sky.
She wasted no more time on the subject, not wanting to damper the good mood of seeing Sully's wonderful face for the first time in a decade. She smiled, letting out a small laugh at his response. "A man who is prepared, I like that. To reacquainting," she repeated, holding up her own mug and taping it against his, as proper etiquette for toasting, and taking a sip of the delicious beverage. Putting her mug down she flushed a bit at his next comment, 'my dear' easily making Skyanna's stomach get butterflies. She was still nervous, but trying her best to keep herself composed. She never was one to talk about herself, mostly because she liked to keep her past and her secrets exactly that, but a little catch up on her profession wouldn't hurt. "I'm actually working at Hogwarts. Hence why I'm here," she started, smiling a bit at the notion. "Ravenclaw Head of House and the Astronomy professor. I normally volunteer for the Hogsmeade trips, it's the only time I really get out of the castle," she admitted sheepishly. "Though it might be my last visit for a while - I'm at lest glad I ran into you here," she offered with a smile, not wanting to bring up the topic of the camps, but dancing around the topic. Sky took another sip of her butterbeer, eyes falling onto Sully. He was still oh so handsome, she could do this all day. [/div] status; woo! tags; sully :3 notes; :3

Hectic for her as well? How in the world could that be for her? There wasn't enough information to gather how in the world Skyanna could be in a sticky situation like Sully was. Patience was a virtue though and Sully kept listening, knowing that his questions would be answered. He just nodded in agreement, knowing that she had a reason for saying her year was just as hectic. But as he explained his...different year, he couldn't help but see something spark within Skyanna. Resisting the urge to give her a knowing look, Sully tried to think back to his school years when he knew little Skyanna. Even her comment about his sap story intrigued him. Now he couldn't help but give her the one eyebrow raise. Nonetheless, Sully was glad that she was taking the same stance as he was. This made their reacquaintence much easier to do since he didn't have to step carefully over his words.
"Someone needs to and -" Sully cut off after realizing what Sky was actually talking about. Those who were affected? Those were people who were werewolves, vampires, half-veelas and so on. Sully kept talking, finishing his sentence. He would ask questions at the opportune moment as to not offend her just incase it was a touchy subject. He may have known the Sky back then, but this could be a whole new person and had to be careful how to push her buttons. "...and joining the Second Order had to be about the best decision I've made." Sully completed in tones only Sky would be able to hear.
Sully took a sip of his butterbeer. Smacking his lips, Sully would never get sick of butterbeer. It was sweet and the frothy top just topped off the delicate drink. After toasting, Sully gave in to his curiosity and asked about what Sky was up to. So she did end up teaching at Hogwarts! And as an Astronomy Professor! "Oh well good for you! Hogwarts is a very prestigious job to have. But if I may ask, why might this be one of your last visits here?" Sully asked. Now he was getting into the questions he was burning to ask. He had a feeling about what it might be about, but Sully had been wrong before and wanted to hear it from her. He hoped that this wouldn't be her last visit! He just found out that someone he knew from his school years was basically around the corner from where he worked! Besides, she has grown so much that he couldn't keep his eyes off of her bright blue eyes. Time had done her well and it certainly hadn't gotten past Sully.

nothing compares to the quiet evenings alone, just the one-two, that much we're counting right. That never happens, I guess im dreaming again. Lets be more than this. If you want to play it like a game, then come on, come on lets play. - - - * At this point in time it was difficult to have certain conversations out in public. Skyanna was well aware of the dangers of coming to hogsmeade and that was just about as much thrill as she was looking for today. She was all about living on the edge and all but doing it with this was a little too serious for Sky to partake in such activities. Sully's dragged out sentence was enough for Sky to realize he was curious, her choice word play dancing around the topic of her lycanthropy. Sully was a fellow Ravenclaw, Sky knew he head a good head on his shoulders thus probably wondering what exactly she is affected by. By process of elimination he may be able to come up with werewolf, but after a decade of not seeing each other it's hard to partake in something like that, having such little knowledge of the person.
She was very happy to hear that he was a member of the second Order, Sky herself joining as soon as she could. That was enough for her to trust him with her secret, she looked at him with a small grin, hands that were once laced around her glass of butterbeer now reaching into her pocket, pulling out a pen. Though she always preferred Quills, she found that muggle pens were much more portable and convenient for moments like these. She always had one on her, just in case. Se looked at Sully deviously, grabbing a napkin on the table and scribbling a word on it while she actually answered. "Agreed. It's nice to know we're on the same .. side on the playing field," she said, looking up to him when she was finished, a smile on her face while she slid over the white napkin in front of him, blue ink outlining the word 'werewolf.' Sky had to be as careful as she could, specifically in this town. Saying that she was a werewolf out loud could easily alert any ministry workers of snatchers that were loitering around, Sky imagining they were common visitors here with the camp right around the corner.
With such a serious topic of discussion brought up, talking about Sky's job seemed feeble and uninteresting. She surveyed Sully over is cup, drinking in his manhood before taking another sip of butterbeer. "There are a lot of reasons, as you can imagine," she started, her eyes wondering around the three broomsticks. For some reason Sky always thought that she would be able to pick a snatcher out from a crowd, but there were just as conspicuous as werewolves were. You can't really tell who they are just by appearance, it's more of a personality trait. And even then it is hard to figure it out unless the person directly tells you, shows you their scar or transforms right in front of you. Clearing her throat Sky looked back to Sully. "Though I do think this is conversation for a more .. private area?" she asked, hoping her had some kind of back room where they could go and actually talk without watching their words. she watched him with an eager stare, waiting for him to make the first move. Stomach still in knots from that silly Hogwarts crush Sky knew it would only get worse with Sully in private quarters but hey, she wouldn't mind the private conversation. Sky had a lot more respect for Sully now then she id back at school, and that was a hard bar to surpass. status; imlovingthis. c: tags; sully :3 notes; thank you for nomination! :D <3

There was no room to be open with each other while surrounded by this many people. They were treading on ground that ought not to be treaded on while in public in times they were currently living in. Sully wasn't sure how much longer he could talk in code like this without just throwing his drink across the room and demand that everybody leave. If he had been a Gryffindor in another life, then he would have thought that to be acceptable, but since he didn't have a temper, Sully kept up the façade. As she began to speak and answer his comment about the Second Order, Sully wondered why she had pulled out a pen. Realizing she was writing something down now on a napkin, she continued talking while writing at the same time. Sully took a moment to drink his butterbeer and for the first time in a long time, he felt like a secret exchange was about to happen. Sully suddenly felt a thrill go through him as the excitement of finally being able to help someone out or just an exchange between two Order members filled him with glee.
When she turned it around, Sully made sure to keep a neutral face since the word on the napkin was a word that these days could bring about madness. Sully wasn't liking where this was going though. He thought that talking to Skyanna was going to be an uplifting topic, but Sully could only blame himself on bringing about the topic. He was obsessed with trying to prove a point to certain people that all he could talk about these days was the anti-delacroix stance he was taking. Of course he did it in moderation since becoming too radical got you noticed and then sent to Azkaban which was not a good thing for making a difference. It was a shame even the simple talk of Sky's Hogwarts position was a difficult situation as well being that she was a werewolf and wanted. Plus, there were rumors going around that the Headmaster was on the Ministers side. Upon hearing that, Sully punch a window. Thank Merlin for magic, or Sully would still have a bandage around his knuckles.
He wasn't really sure what to say now that he knew her whole story from just that one word. She was trying to be secretive and she wouldn't be able to visit Hogsmeade anymore because of the close by camps and the snatchers surrounding the place. Sully was able to tell some of the snatches that made it obvious, but otherwise they got past Sully's calculating gaze. "Follow me." Sully replied curtly as he gathered up his butterbeer and began to walk towards the bar to drop off his unfinished drink. Quickly moving to the little entrance to the other side of the bar, Sully approached one of his bartenders and murmured, "I'll be in my office. I'd advise you to only call me over if it's an emergency." Sully pattered the bartender's shoulder and had Sky follow him back to his office in the far back; the one he only used for private files and a space for pure silence when he needed to concentrate. He decided against the place he called office with a very large window that peered over the pub since he didn't want anybody to overhear or see the conversation they were about to have.
Opening the door for her to walk in through, Sully followed her. "It's the second door to the left." Sully told her as they walked down the narrow, musty hallway. The place needed a good sweep and dusting because it was hardly used. The lights were off in all the rooms, minus the lamp that lit the hallway. It was a bit eerie to those who probably haven't been here as much as Sully had. Arriving to the second door to the left, Sully opened the door quickly, reaching from behind her since he wasn't able to pass her in the narrow hallway. The door swung inwards and in they walked as Sully switched on the lights. With the door closed now, Sully heaved a sigh and looked at Sky. "Much better. But just incase." Sully thought to put a silencing charm on the room so nobody outside of the room would be able to hear them. With a swish of his wand, Sully cast the spell and then they were able to freely speak.
notes; so much muse!! and no problem for the nominations ;D

If you want to play it like a game, then come on, come on lets play. - - - * It was easy for such a normal, comfortable conversation to get overshadowed by the evils that seem to be lurking in today's world. It was basically impossible to avoid such topics because even without meaning for it to happen they were on everyones mind. These new laws and all the hate was being pushed and shoved into everyones face far too much for Sky's liking, and even though she loved to debate her views with others it seemed to be lackluster when she talked opinions with someone who shared the same views as she. Sky was relatively good at leading conversation though, so she was sure she could bring this awful conversation topic back to something more pleasant. If Sky remembered correctly (and it seemed that so far her memory had yet to fail her) Sully was an interesting man to talk to, his company pleasing to both the mind and the eyes. She would hate for it to end so quickly because of such an awful man and his even worse laws.
She was somewhat glad when he mentioned for her to follow him, she nodding as she got to her feet shortly after he did, grabbing her jacket and allowing for him to lead the way. She grabbed her butterbeer, taking a rather large chug of it before she started to walk, trying to kill of as much of it as she could before they went into ... wherever it was they were going. She followed his lead, not knowing much about the three broomsticks aside from the room that they were in. She dropped her almost finished butterbeer off with his, offering the worker a faint smile as she followed him through the doorway on the other side of the bar. Just knowing they were going somewhere secluded and far away from eavesdropping ears made Sky feel a bit safer, even more so knowing that she was a.] with sully who was always a very capable wizard and b.] he was an order member. It doesn't get much safer then that, aside from being with the entire second order. In Sky's eyes Sully was what she thought of as a real man. A honest and hardworking one that stood up for his beliefs - the thought brought Sky's mind to Alistair for a moment, grinning at the thought of the two meeting so at lest Alistair knew what a real man was like. But she was drawn out of thought by Sully's voice, Sky nodding and heading down the narrow hallway.
Sky never imagined the three broomsticks back area to be so .. creepy. Sky wasn't scared of many things, but she imagined many of the student workers hated coming back here by themselves at night. But she wasn't judging, Sky knew how busy the manager of a restaurant or pub can be, she having hoped between many jobs before landing at Hogwarts. The hallway was such close quarters, and though Sky was in front of Sully her face managed to flush a bit, specifically when his arm came from behind her to open the door for her. She flushed a bit more at the act, Sky always being a sucker for a gentleman. She still kept her cool though, entering the room swiftly and placing her jacket on a chair. She sighed a bit, flashing him a small smile at the curtsy he had given her. "Thank you. I didn't mean to inconvenience you, but in times like these talking about the order and my lycanthropy out in the open isn't really safe," she said, leaning up against the desk that was in the small room. Sky looked around for a moment, noting that there were no windows and the only entrance was the door that Sully was currently in front of. He was clever, and that charm only added to the trait.
She cleared her throat a bit, her hands gripping the edge of the desk she was currently leaning on. "I hate that friendly conversation turns into something so serious because of that awful man. No matter where you go everyone is so .. tense," she offered again, still feeling slightly apologetic about having him cater to her own needs. It made her feel dependent, and she really hated it. "So when did you join the order?" she questioned, bringing up a topic that wasn't as gloomy as everything else. At lest she thought so.

In the small sized unused office, Sully had brought in a couch that could seat four people, a leather seat with a high back, a desk with a a padded wooden chair ( on it had many papers and miscellaneous items strewn across the surface ) and the rest of the space was empty, waiting for other furniture to fill it. Seeing as Sully didn't use it very much, the empty space would remain empty and barren, collecting dust over time. Sully didn't bother to hide his mess since he knew that it would come back in a snap. He could never seem to keep things organized in his offices even though he considered himself an organized person. Now that he thought of it, the room really didn't need anything else to fill up the space. The room was small enough that the furniture that was in the room made it seem crowded as it was.
Sitting down on the couch, he watched her lean against his desk. He had to stop himself from staring at her to try to remember what she had said. Clearing his throat, "Oh Merlin, no problem. They can handle it out there without me. Besides, these days one has to take precautions if one doesn't want their life to be turned upside down. " Sully said, waving his hand at the thanks she was giving him. He was just doing his duty to help the unfortunate. He wasn't trying to pick her as weak since Sully knew that she was very capable to defend herself, but Sully knew that there were very skilled snatchers as well. Sully hadn't come across one yet, but he secretly wished he did so he could give them a piece of his mind. He was itches to do so for such a long time. Knowing that taking anger out on someone wasn't exactly the way to solve problems, but Sully was certain that when and if he came across one, he wouldn't be able to contain himself. All the frustration had built up over time.
All he could do was nod at the direction of conversation. He agreed that such a reunion should be in happy tones instead of dread and sorrow. Stroking his beard, he let his eyes stare at the ground as he thought. "It was a week after being hired here. So...about three weeks now I've been in the order. " Sully said as he stood up. The more he spent time with her, the more he noticed small things. Ten years of not seeing someone you used to see almost everyday was always a baffling situation. He noticed how she looked mature. The womanly curves that seemed nonexistent back then were very present. He presumed that her skin was soft and he had the urge to touch it. His fingers twitched, but he refrained. They had only rediscovered each other just moment ago. Sully couldn't be impulsive or irrational. Walking over to the desk as well, Sully leaned against the desk next to her. Hand on the desk, Sully turned his head to look over to Sky. "What about you? Sully asked about the order.

nothing compares to the quiet evenings alone, just the one-two, that much we're counting right. That never happens, I guess im dreaming again. Lets be more than this. If you want to play it like a game, then come on, come on lets play. - - - * Skyanna found it kind of strange how comfortable she was with Sully. Even after so many years have passed since she has seen them last it was almost like they were still in school. Well, almost. They obviously have grown up a bit since they have last seen each other, Sky making a note of that the moment she spotted him. He still looked just as good as he did back in school, if not better. Back in school she use to follow him around whenever she got the chance, admiring his attractive physique and gentlemen like behavior. He was aways around (mainly because she creeped him like a super creep whenever she had the chance) and stuck up for Sky when things weren't going her way with other students. It was nice - he was kind of like her knight in shining armor, which is probably while she had such a huge crush on him back in school. It still persisted somewhat, but he didn't need to know that.
She smiled a bit, feeling a bit better about causing him to drop everything to make things a bit more secluded for the two to chat. She nodded at his truthful statement, biting her bottom lip slightly before answering. "I believe Kat Williams works for you, doesn't she?" Sky questioned eagerly, the thought coming upon her at mention of his workers. She grinned a bit at the thought, hearing the story of how she did something awful to the three broomsticks in her younger years. Sky wasn't here to witness or deal with it unfortunately, she only wishing she was. "But still, running into you again shouldn't have to be a secretive ordeal, no matter what we're doing with our lives. So much for pleasantries hmm?" she remarked, shrugging it off lightly. It was the truth, though it was brought up in friendly banter and she continue with it she still hoped to get their chance meeting into a more positive light. Maybe even talk about the good old days - before he graduated when they still knew each other. Back when things in the world weren't so screwed up and when people like Sky could walk into a public place and not worry about who was watching or listening to her conversation. Privacy sometimes was better, even in situations that didn't require it. Sky felt a lot more comfortable and she was sure Sully did too.
Nodding at his comments about the order Sky continued with the conversation. "As soon as I heard that radio broadcast. I mean, there wasn't really much option for me. At lest that is how I looked at it," Sky spoke, knowing that she wanted to fight this more than anything. It was the perfect opportunity for her, she got a sick kind of thrill about being able to finally do something. She felt so powerless for so long, for the first time in a while she was somewhat in control. More curious about him then herself Sky asked another question. "I remember hearing you went to the ministry after graduation. The man could definitely have used more men like you. What exactly Happened, you know aside from the idiocy of the minister. If you don't mind me asking," Sky questioned, always having the stones to ask the questions that made people slightly uncomfortable. Though at the given moment they were safe under the protection of Sully's spell. Deciding to get more comfortable Sky heaved herself up onto the desk to sit on top of it, she sitting on Sully's hand in the process. She flushed slightly, not realizing it was there. "Sorry," she said with a small laugh, scooting over to free it.

"Ah yes, my beloved Ms. Williams. She's actually one of my favorite employees here. Although, I was told to keep on eye on her since apparently she did something bad a couple years ago. I have yet to hear it come from her lips or hearing it accidentally from someone else's." Sully explained. He heard rumors about it, but nothing that sounded like something real. It all sounded too made up. Whatever the case, Katniss seemed to have learned from her past mistakes and that's all Sully cared about. As long as mistakes were realized, one could live a better life from past mistakes. Of course, the mistake of war never seemed to be realized or learned from since the minister was taking on the same views as the Dark Lord. Snatchers, cruel laws, corrupt systems and the list went on. All of the above aggravated Sully to the point that he just wanted to march right into the Ministry of Magic and punch the Minister straight in the face.
"Besides, there's plenty of time for pleasantries now that I know you work at Hogwarts! Plenty of time to meet up with each other instead of in another ten years. I'm afraid I probably won't look as good as I do now." Sully joked as he looked down at his muscled body. Perhaps when he was thirty-eight he would still be able to stay in shape, but Sully wasn't sure where he would be ten years from now. He hoped that Minister Delacroix would be taken from power and someone worthy of the position would put everything back in place and Sully would be back at his dream job. Ten years from now was too far away though to be thinking of pleasant daydreams. After today, if he did see Sky again - and he sure hoped he did - he would bring up a more...cheerful subject. He could see them exchanging stories with each other after Sully graduated from Hogwarts. He was curious about how she managed to be without him. Inside he was smiling, but if he started to smile, she would notice and then he would have to explain himself. Sully wasn't sure if he wanted to share his inner thoughts. They tended to be...eccentric and something not for a woman's ears.
The topic changed back to the Order and Sully listened to Sky about her encounters with the Order. Sully had worked inside the Ministry, so he heard it there, but he was always curious about how other people heard. There was always through other people and of course the posters around the town, but he had forgotten about the radio broadcasts as well. Yet again the conversation went back to him and Sully was asked about what had happend. "Oh no I don't mind at all. To be honest, I've been dying to tell someone about it, but I was never really sure who to tell since I'm not as trusting as I once was." Sully confessed as he rubbed the back of his neck with a frown on his face. He watched as Sky got comfortable on his desk, sitting on his hand in the process. Moving his hand from under her leg to placing it on his knee, he just squeezed her knee as reassurance. He didn't move his hand though as he continued to explain his tragedy of a story.
"Basically I couldn't stand to stand by anymore and work for a man that had opposing viewpoints as I did. No one else was going to do anything about it while working in the Ministry, so I quit and came to the one place I thought would be safer: Hogwarts. Well, Hogsmeade, but it's basically the same place. But I also had a little support from some people to reassure me that I wasn't making the biggest mistake of my life." Sully explained as he rubbed his thumb subconsciously on Sky's knee. He kept replaying the memory of himself giving his letter of resignation to his boss. The Minister had gotten involved as well and asked Sully a few questions as to why he was quitting. He had simply said he wanted to see the world. It was a dirty lie, but it was the first thing Sully thought of. "And I never thought I'd see anyone familiar here. It was a bit far-fetched to think I wouldn't, but...well you just threw me off a bit." Sully explained on further with a slight smile, not bothering to ask her another question since his hand that was on her knee went to tuck her dark black hair behind her ear. It was a bit out of the blue, but he thought that taking his chances with Sky wouldn't turn out to be that bad.

nothing compares to the quiet evenings alone, just the one-two, that much we're counting right. That never happens, I guess im dreaming again. Lets be more than this. If you want to play it like a game, then come on, come on lets play. - - - * The topic of Katniss was one that Sky found herself grinning at, she herself only having heard stories about what happened with her and the three broomsticks many moons ago. She was unsure if it was her place to spill the beans, as the phrase goes, but it seemed that Sully was a little curious about Kat's previous endeavors. That and it sounded that Kat had grown a bit since she had been condemned to work off the damage she caused, seeing as Sully favored her a bit. That was reassuring, not that Sky had any doubts in her student. She held a respect for the young Ravenclaw, which was more then she could say for a lot of other students. "Well, I've only heard the stories because I wasn't teaching here at the time. But I'll leave it to the imagination - and I'm not a fan of gossip," she said with a playful smirk, knowing that it should come from Kat's mouth when he does find out that she blew part of the place up. At lest that is what Sky heard - but who knows if such rumors held any truth.
Sky couldn't help but laugh at his next comments, a soft chuckle escaping her lips. "Well time has been most gracious to you so far, I don't think another ten years will do you any harm" she grinned a bit, liking the thought of seeing Sully more often. It had nothing to do with his attractive body, but more or less company she can trust and relate to. Sure, she had Alistair to .. take her frustrations out on and there was always Geoffrey and Theodore but Sully was a different personality. She literally viewed him as something close to Prince charming - he was smart, polite, morally straight (at lest in her opinion), brave and charismatic. All that wrapped up in this lovely looking man. He was definitely a catch, Sky assuming he had some woman in his life that he was swooning over. How could someone like him not? Even so she wouldn't let her old school crush feelings get in the way of friendly coffee dates or nights out at the bar. She would love to hear the stories he had from after graduation, no doubt they were better then hers. Sky's stories weren't exactly pleasant, but from what she understood he had the world at his feet when he graduated. Even spending nights speaking of the good old days back at school would have been pleasant enough, they sharing plenty memories of Hogwarts even though they only attended for a few years together. "But another ten years is still too long, I can agree with you there. Rendezvous sound lovely, good company is hard to come by these days" she admitted with a small shrug, knowing he understood why.
Sky was slightly relieved that he wasn't completely against the idea of speaking about what happened at the ministry. She was very curious about the story and was glad that she was able to relieve some tension from him about the matter. Things like that tend to eat away at people, specifically when you know you did the right thing but are unsure. Sky would have done the same thing in his position, and she was beyond prepared to tell him so.
As she got comfortable in preparation to listen to what he had to say butterflies fluttered in her stomach at the touch of Sully's hand on her knee, her face flushing slightly at the reassurance squeeze as he kept his hand there and started with the story. She listened intently, she sitting beside where he stood trying so very hard to forget those petty little school girl feelings that persisted through her mind. Sky never got so easily flustered like this, this territory something new to her. She kept her cool the best she could, the fluttering feeling in her stomach only increasing with the rubbing of his thumb. Sky watched him curiously, her cheeks still expressing a light shade of pink. It made it hard for Sky to focus on what he was saying but she still caught every word, knowing he was probably thinking of the moment he resigned. Whether it was dramatic or simply an 'ok, goodbye,' Sky was unsure, but she didn't want to press the subject much more. "Well, in case there was any more doubt in your mind let me kill it by saying you definitely made the correct decision. Only a coward defies his morals and beliefs for the sake of not knowing what was going to happen. It takes a man to do what you did" she said, her voice soft spoken and sincere. She was completely serious, knowing it must have been a hard decision for Sully. Hell, that was his career, he must of had a lot of doubts. "Besides, things seem to be going well for you here. And you ran into me, what could be better?" she snickered a bit, a false ego that Sky presented in hopes to lighten the mood a bit.
Sky grinned a bit at his next comments. "Silly indeed, there are always ghosts from the past sneaking up on you ..." she started, her voice drifting off a bit when she felt his hand move, she blushing even more when he tucked her hair behind her ear gently. It was probably obvious to Sully now how comfortably uncomfortable she was. She almost wanted to sit in the corner and melt she was so hot and flustered with the situation, but she couldn't bring herself to move. They weren't terribly close, but close enough for Sky to find herself at a loss. This smitten feeling was one Sky had not felt in a while, the thrill of not knowing what was going to happen next, if anything at all. She didn't get her hopes up for she had been let down too many times in the past. But all signals were pointing in a direction that Sky was liking. She swallowed, looking to Sully as she finished what she wanted to say. "In a good way, I hope ..." she spoke, voice soft and airy. Her blue eyes rested on him for a moment, wondering what it was he was thinking. status; /hot and flustered tags; sully :3 notes; OH GAWD.

Pah, gossip. Sully heard enough gossip from all his female employees and he wasn't sure how women actually liked to talk about other people's troubles and drama. It all seemed a bit petty. But Sully was a man and was never really in the loop of who was dating who or how shagged another. The last bit should really be kept as a personal issue and not public. Bragging about sex was just a bit immature if they've done almost every other person. There was always at least one person in each house who seemed to need bragging rights about how many people they slept with. It always annoyed Sully, but he couldn't clam that he was pure as the next virgin. Sully just didn't go around advertising it.
She hadn't been here as long as Sully thought she was, but either way she was here and Sully was beyond happy that he had someone to talk to from his past. Sully always had a sort of hold on his past since he loved his Hogwarts years. Seeing Sky brought all his fond memories he had of his school years. They were certainly better than these memories that were dark and dangerous to be living in if you were someone like Sky was. It was always nice to escape from the present and live in the past sometimes. It was healthy to look back at the past and learn from some of the mistakes. His father was well known for telling him that the past was your mentor in life; look back and learn from your mistakes and your successes. "Hah, knowing my imagination, it'll make it sound like she killed a man and then blew up the place." Sully joked around not knowing that half of it was true. He made sure to make a mental note about subtly getting Katniss to get her to tell him, of course only if she wanted to. He wasn't sure if it was a sore subject or not.
Looking down at himself again, he wasn't sure. What if he had children and, well maybe they'd keep him in shape since he was sure he'd be chasing them around all the time. Sully used to be a wild child when he was two or three from the stories his grandparents used to tell him all the time. Apparently he liked to crawl everywhere. A need for speed is what his mother said every time the story came up. "Well if I end up alone in ten years then perhaps I'll still look the same, but I certainly can't predict the future. Unless...you're not a werewolf and a seer, are you?!" Sully questioned as his eyes grew big. Sully knew that she was just a werewolf, but now that they have been in each others presence a bit longer, Sully was bringing out the jokes. Granted they were probably a bit lame, but he was a Ravenclaw more focused on his studies, not mastering his jokes. He was sure he'd get some sort of smile out of her though.
Sully knew that catching up wouldn't be an easy nor a pleasant conversation, so when he came across his story of quitting, he couldn't help but sober up at the thought of what he might've had if the Minister wasn't such an ass. He'd be living the life in his long dream and maybe one day be the Head of his Department. But he wasn't there and if he wasn't here, then he wouldn't have reconnected with Sky and who knows where Sully would be if he was still at the Ministry. He doubted that he would find a decent woman since he wouldn't be able to find a women with the same thoughts and opinions as Sully since everybody in the Ministry were either cowards or demons. It was nice to hear from Sky that he didn't make a mistake since he struggled with that decision for the longest time. It probably took him a month to write his letter of resignation and a month before that to decide that he couldn't work for a man that was racist against perfectly fine people. HIs lips turned into a slight smile at her comment. "That is true. I never knew how nice it was to reconnect with people who I went to school with. It's been a nice...refresher." Sully replied, but then the conversation turned and he could see a blush creeping up to her cheeks.
Sully always loved it when a woman blushed. For some reason, blushing was very attractive to him. He loved it even more that she still tried to keep speaking. Sully couldn't help what he was doing and just let himself let loose and maybe take a chance. She was so beautiful and he forgot that she was an intriguing person. Well, more so now than in school since she seemed so young back then. Now a few years didn't seem to matter anymore. Sully always heard that when graduation ended that people didn't care that they fell for people who were years older or younger than them. There was no judging anymore when you were adults on the topic of age. Her eyes rested on him and he looked her in the eyes that looked very blue from his point of view. "Oh trust me. It's been in a good way." Sully replied back in low tones as he scooted close enough to her so their hips were touching. Sully knew where this would end up, but he didn't mind like he usually would. Sully never just threw his cat around, but he certainly had it on his mind this time around. Moving his hand from where he tucked her hair behind her ear to her hand, Sully looked down at her hand and wasn't sure if he should just go in for it, or get some sort of sign from Sky that it was ok. Ah, who was he kidding, she was sure she didn't mind at all. Looking back up to her face. His other hand cupped her cheek and slowly leaned into her, pressing his lips to hers.
